Pop sensation Harry Styles has teased a musical return, suggesting that a new album could be on the way four years after his last release. While the former One Direction musician has continued to tour and perform, his last studio release was the 2022 album “Harry’s House,” which was met with critical acclaim.
What we DO know is that Styles will be back on stage at Madison Square Garden in 2026, as reported by Page Six.
Harry Styles’ Poster Campaign Hints at New Album
According to BBC News, mysterious billboards have appeared in various major cities around the world in the last few days that are clearly linked to the Grammy-winning artist. These include posters in the likes of Manchester in the UK, New York, Brazil’s São Paulo and Berlin in Germany.
The billboards show a crowd of fans, which are taken from the final leg of his 2022-2023 world tour alongside the words “We Belong Together.” Meanwhile, a website featuring the same slogan recently went live and includes a short video clip of the same crowd. When users click on the image, it leads directly to a WhatsApp group under the name “HSHQ,” which many speculate stands for Harry Styles Headquarters.
Reports suggested that Styles began recording for the new album in August 2024, with sessions allegedly taking place at London’s RAK Studios. There are also rumors that the artist has signed deals that will see him play residencies at Madison Square Garden and Manchester’s Co-op Live Arena.
Harry Styles Had Earlier Teased Fans With a YouTube Video
This isn’t the first cryptic tease from Styles in the last few weeks. At the end of December, he unexpectedly dropped a YouTube video titled “Forever, Forever” The eight-minute clip of Styles performing a piano ballad from the final leg of his “Love On Tour” gigs.
Taking place at the RCF Arena in Italy, the video captures the build-up to the show as fans gather outside before launching into the song. Styles precedes the performance by saying, “I wrote this for you.”
At the end of the clip, the words “We Belong Together” can be seen on the screen, linking that video directly to the new billboards.
So far, there has been no official confirmation exactly what the “We Belong Together” campaign relates to. There is a chance it could be signalling a new tour, a documentary about the last tour, or a concert film. However, most are assuming that it is part of the promotional push for an upcoming album.
