Kelly Osbourne Shares Personal Way She Remembers Dad & Black Sabbath Rocker Ozzy Osbourne

Kelly Osbourne admits she still reaches out to her late dad, Ozzy Osbourne, nearly a year after his passing.

On Thursday, May 21, the reality star, 41, took to her Instagram Story to reveal the sweet way she keeps Ozzy’s memory alive in her daily life.

“The Osbournes” star shared a series of photos and videos dedicated to her dad, including a new outdoor installation commemorating the Black Sabbath rocker.

In the clip, Kelly showed large letters set across a meadow that read, “Ozzy [expletive] Osbourne.”

She also posed for a selfie, showing off a chunky gold ring that says “Dad.”

Kelly Osbourne Admits She Still Reaches Out to Ozzy Osbourne

In another Instagram Story post, Kelly penned an emotional message for Ozzy, who passed away in July 2025, just 17 days after his July 5 farewell performance, “Back to the Beginning,” at Villa Park in his hometown Birmingham, England.

Ozzy had been battling Parkinson’s disease but performed solo hits as well as several songs with his Black Sabbath bandmates, reuniting after 20 years.

“I still reach for you in ordinary moments, Dad,” she wrote. “In quiet rooms, in tired evenings, in every piece of life that should have included you.”

Kelly has been very vocal about her grief following Ozzy’s death. In July 2025, she reflected on her dad’s passing, calling it the “hardest moment” in her life.

“I’ve sat down to write this a hundred times and still don’t know if the words will ever feel like enough.. but from the bottom of my heart, thank you,” she wrote. “The love, support, and beautiful messages I’ve received from so many of you have truly helped carry me through the hardest moment of my life. Every kind word, every shared memory, every bit of compassion has meant more than I can ever explain.”

Kelly continued, “Grief is a strange thing—it sneaks up on you in waves—I will not be ok for a while—but knowing my family are not alone in our pain makes a difference. I’m holding on tight to the love, the light, and the legacy left behind.”

Fans Send Kelly Osbourne Love

Meanwhile, fans shared their love and support for Kelly as she continues to cope with the loss of her dad, Ozzy.

Someone wrote, “Losing a loved one is difficult, and it takes time to get used to not having them there anymore. I wish her comfort and peace.”

Another commented, “I wish you well Kelly. Losing your loved one is one of life’s most painful times. A wise old lady once said, ‘Grief is the price we pay for love.'”

The Osbourne family announced Ozzy’s death on July 22, 2025.

“It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning,” the family said in a statement. “He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time.”

Kelly Osbourne has endured the grief of another relationship ending this year, her breakup with fiance and Slipknot musician Sid Wilson. The two revealed their romance in 2022 after decades of friendship and welcomed a son together, Sidney, later that year. Wilson asked Osbourne to marry him backstage at her father’s last performance in July 2025, but the couple quietly split in early 2026.
