A popular singer suffered an alarming onstage accident when he crashed onto his face during a performance, but reports say he is most likely going to be okay.
The R&B singer Lloyd, who has an Instagram following of almost a million fans and has featured Lil Wayne on one of his songs, was delivering a high-energy performance on the night of November 21, 2025 when he slipped while dancing and hit the ground face-first. See the video below.
Lloyd Fell While Performing in Alabama
The entertainer was performing in Alabama when the onstage accident took place, according to TMZ. The outlet says his security helped to him to his feet, and he was able to finish the song. He didn’t appear to injure his face or head, per the report.
He appeared to laugh before finishing his show, according to the story. Shortly after the show, he took to social media to crack a joke about the incident, writing on a video of the viral moment shared by the Instagram page Only In Alabama, “Saw my life flash before my eyes tonight. Lol.”
Lloyd is not the only public figure to have a recent public accident. On November 19, Jamaica’s delegate for the Miss Universe pageant, Gabrielle Henry, tumbled off the edge of the stage during the evening gown portion of the preliminary round.
Fans Reacted After Lloyd Fell Onstage
Once they realized he was okay, fans admired Lloyd’s ability to laugh off the fall. One wrote on the Only In Alabama video, “Him cracking up is the best part.”
Another remarked, “He really wanted to lay down for a tad and let the laughs soak up the pain. When you a lil older you can’t get up too quick. I’m glad he’s okay.”
A week before the accident, Lloyd spent time with his niece before a show. “Hanging out & being silly with my beautiful niece,” he captioned a photo of himself posing with the pre-teen.
Lloyd gave a shoutout to comedian Wanda Sykes in the same post, saying he was practicing her “currency of kindness.” He also revealed he is working on an album.
Going by his concert schedule on Ticketmaster, it looks like Lloyd’s tour will go on as planned despite his hard fall. His next show is tonight, November 23, in Memphis, TN. He is slated to perform on November 25, the eve of Thanksgiving, in Nashville.
