E! News spoke with Emily Blunt and wanted to know just what John Krasinski thought of the project.
“I know that your husband John is a big fan, what was his reaction when you told him you guys are coming back?” the reporter asks.
“You know he’s thrilled. I mean, everyone. My kids are thrilled. My kids’ friends are thrilled. It brings people together. It’s like a big old nostalgia bomb, this movie,” Emily happily replied.
‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’ is a Huge Family Affair
While John Krasinski couldn’t be prouder of his wife, he has another family member in the film too. Actor Stanley Tucci is married to Emily Blunt’s sister, Felicity.
Tucci first met Felicity at John Krasinski and Emily Blunt’s 2010 wedding. His first wife, Kathryn, tragically passed away from breast cancer in 2009. Though he was still working through his grief, meeting Felicity changed his entire world. They married in 2012 and went on to welcome two children together.
Of course, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci had a blast working together.

If we do another one, they better have us joined at the hip. But I think we know each other so well, the few moments we have together, whenever they would cut, Stan would be like, ‘You’re shameless. Shameless.’ Which is probably how much I was overacting.”
“The Devil Wears Prada 2” hits theaters in the United States on May 1, 2026.
