Charlie Kirk’s wife Erika revealed she hoped she was pregnant following her husband’s passing.
She made the revelation while she spoke with Megyn Kelly in an interview on Sunday, Nov. 23.
โWe wanted to have four,โ she told the Kelly. “And I was praying to God that I was pregnant when he got murdered. I was like, ‘Oh goodness, that would be the ultimate blessing out of this catastrophe.'”
The two share a 3-year-old daughter and a 1-year-old son.
The 37-year-old added that she now urges couples to not wait to have kids.
โNow when I see young couples, I tell them, โPlease, donโt put it off.โ Especially if youโre a young woman, donโt put it off,” she added. “You can always have a career, you can always go back to work. You can never just go back to having children.โ
Erika Is Incredibly Private
While Erika will share sweet moments with her children on social media, she makes sure to protect their privacy.
She will often mention her two children and revealed the sweet explanation she gave her daughter when she asked where her dad was.
โBaby, daddy loves you so much. Donโt you worry,โ she told her. โHeโs on a work trip with Jesus, so he can afford your blueberry budget.โ
The former Miss Arizona also shared a cute moment of her daughter saying Charlie Kirk’s name.
โ[H]erโฆsaying your name, as she witnesses all youโve built and continue to build, proves that love never dies, just changes form. It breathes through our children. This is her legacy also,โ Erika wrote.
She continued, โAnd as she grows up and continues to say your name, Iโll be reminding her that each time Heaven leans in to listen.โ
Erika Shared a Heartfelt Message on Her Birthday
Erika posted a lengthy message to Instagram on her birthday. The video was filled with moments she shared with her late husband.
“I always loved celebrating you, and maybe because it was a reflection of how beautifully you always celebrated me. I romanticized growing old with you, the love of my life. I used to wonder what our faces would look like with wisdom-wrinkles,” she wrote.
She continued, “So as I blow out candles this year with an ache so deep I pray no one ever has to feel it, Iโm reminded that each day, each moment, each birthdayโฆyouโre with me. Not in the way I once dreamed, but in the way God has mercifully allowed.”

People can tell when they are pregnant…hormones change/may get headache the next day. Yes…easier to get pregnant/have kids when younger.
