T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach are celebrating another exciting relationship milestone as they confirm they have settled on a wedding date. The couple got engaged eight months earlier.
T.J. Holmes & Amy Robach Confirm Wedding Date
The confirmation came on Tuesday, May 19, when they appeared for a joint interview on Bill and Giuliana Rancic’s podcast, “Bill and Giuliana: The Podcast.” Robach and Holmes were asked if they knew when they would get married, to which Holmes replied that they did.
“Are you okay with that date? I had a date that I really wanted. You’re just telling me now on the podcast that you’re okay with that date?” Robach responded to Holmes with visible shock. “Being here with them made me more comfortable,” Holmes responded, without giving details of which date they had settled on.
“There is a way we want to get married that we haven’t revealed necessarily, but it would be very special to us,” Holmes shared. “We can’t say what that is. That’s a big thing for us.”
A snippet from the podcast was shared on Instagram on May 20, giving fans a chance to see Robach and Holmes speak about their relationship and interact as a couple. Many fans praised the couple in the comment section of the post.
“The love you have for each other. It’s just extraordinary. So very blessed,” a fan wrote. “Loving this so much,” another person shared.
“My favorites! Thank you! So much light,” a third person shared.
Amy Robach & T.J. Holmes’ Exes Give Their Blessing
The start of Robach and Holmes’ relationship was steeped in controversy, and not all fans were on board. When their coupling went public with paparazzi photos in November 2022, they faced public backlash and were both let go from “Good Morning America,” where they were co-anchors. However, it has been three years, and the couple is still together, and their relationship has received the blessing of their former partners, Andrew Shue and Marilee Fiebig. Fiebig and Shue have since become a couple.
“They have the blessing of their exes to get married,” a source told Us Weekly. The source also revealed that despite being invited to the wedding, Shue and Fiebig have chosen not to attend, but “their kids will be there.”
“Amy wants T.J.’s daughter Sabine and her daughters, Ava and Annie, to be bridesmaids,” the source told Us Weekly in January. Holmes shares Sabine with Fiebig, but he also has two other children with his first wife, Amy Ferson.
Robach was previously married to Tim McIntosh until 2009. They share two adult daughters. She married Shue in 2010 and became a stepmother to his three sons. It will be the third marriage for both Holmes and Robach. This is also something that Robach addressed in her interview on “Bill and Giuliana: The Podcast.”
“This will be our third marriage, both of us,” she said. “We’ve both been married twice before, and we want to maximize the amount of time we have together. We want to enjoy as much of that as we can.”
