A day earlier, on Sunday, May 17, the couple walked the red carpet. This time, Vikander wowed in a classic white dress, while Fassbender wore a black suit, white collared shirt, and black bow tie. A video taken from the evening was shared on the official Cannes Film Festival Instagram account. In the caption, it reads, “Couple goal alert. Michael Fassbender & Alicia Vikander are arriving on the red carpet for the Hope premiere. #Cannes2026.”
