Jackie Goldschneider has broken her silence about her RHONJ exit with an official social media statement.
The reality star took to Instagram to share her thoughts about the cast shakeup that left only three of the show’s stars returning to the long-running Bravo series. She wanted to address “the elephant in the room” right away and revealed some major truths about her time as a “Real Housewives of New Jersey” cast member.
Jackie Goldschneider Shares First Remarks About RHONJ Exit
After six seasons on “Real Housewives of New Jersey,” Jackie Goldschneider is not returning as a cast member of the Bravo series. She shared her remarks in an Instagram video clip.
“I just wanted to pop on to address the elephant in the room,” the former reality television star began.
“My kids filmed their 10th birthday on the show, and in two weeks they’re turning 18. So it’s been a really long run. My second season on the show was when I had the 11th birthday party in my driveway and served pizza,” Goldschneider continued. “It’s been a really long, beautiful run. Six seasons over eight years.”
She concluded, “I am so grateful. I had a lot of fun.”
“I am not worried for any of us, and I know there are tons of shows out there. I’ve been getting calls from casting agents. I have a bunch of other projects lined up.”
When Did Jackie Goldschneider Begin on RHONJ?
Jackie Goldschneider began her run on “Real Housewives of New Jersey” in Season 9. She joined the cast alongside Jennifer Aydin. Both women are not returning for Season 15.
She quickly fell into the continued drama between cast members, particularly with Teresa Giudice. However, by Season 14, the duo had resolved their personal issues.
During an episode of Goldschneider’s podcast “Just Jackie,” she revealed that the twosome repaired their friendship off-camera. “We chose to forgive each other and to move forward. And a lot of people are really, really uncomfortable with that.”
“We weren’t just pretending it didn’t happen. Teresa and I got together with our husbands, and we talked about it off camera. We apologized to each other for it, we apologized to each other’s husbands and we decided to move forward,” she continued.
“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” will return for Season 15 with OG cast members Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, and Dolores Catania. Filming is reportedly set to start this spring.
