‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ Confirms Spring Filming as Just 3 Cast Members Come Back

Fans can finally breathe a sigh of relief: their favorite “Real Housewives” franchise is officially making its long-awaited return to TV after a nearly two-year hiatus.

According to Bravo, “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” has been renewed for season 15, but it comes with a major cast shakeup, as only three original cast members are returning.

On March 24, Bravo announced that “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” will officially return for season 15. However, the new season will look very different, as only three Housewives are set to return alongside a lineup of fresh faces.

The three women returning include OG RHONJ star Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, and Dolores Catania. That means that season 14 stars, Margaret Josephs, Jennifer Aydin, Daniella Cabral, Rachel Fuda, Jackie Goldschneider, and Jenn Fessler, will not return.

Bravo also announced that the new season will start production this spring, while the rest of the cast will be announced at a later time.

After a rift between cast members, primarily Giudice and Gorga, fans were happy to hear that the family had officially made amends in November 2025, during BravoCon. Hopefully, this means that the new season will focus on rebuilding and healing old wounds, while still delivering the drama fans know and love.

Fans will certainly miss seeing Margaret Josephs on their screen. Josephs first appeared on RHONJ in season 8 and gave fans some of the most memorable RHONJ moments.

Just before Bravo announced the RHONJ returning cast members, Josephs shared a video on Instagram discussing her exit, sharing that it was time to “move on.”

“I’ve been thinking about a lot of different things, and I am moving on from the ‘Housewives of New Jersey’ … I’ve been in the talks with the network and Andy [Cohen] this December,  we’ve discussed it, and I think the timing is right,” she began.

“A lot of things have changed in my life. I’ve been blessed to work on a different project, I’m on the set right now, and I realized I have to spend more time with my family, work on my designing, and just take a break and move on,” she continued.

According to Us Weekly, Josephs will return to our screens in a new Amazon Prime reality series filmed in the Dominican Republic. Not much information has been given, but the cast will also feature “Real Housewives” stars Kenya Moore, Kim Zolciak, and other notable reality stars, including Bachelor Nation’s Jenn Tran and Kaitlyn Bristowe.

A source for the outlet shared that the series will be “basically a spin on Bravo’s ‘Girls Trip’ franchise,” adding that it’s like the popular film, “It’s like ‘Eat, Pray, Love.”
