After her first BravoCon, which she highlighted on her Instagram, “The Real Housewives of Orange County’s” Katie Ginella stopped to talk with ET about her time in Las Vegas, the reunion, and her future on the franchise.
When asked by ET if she was open to moving forward with the relationships with her costars, Ginella said, “I’m open to moving forward because I think there is a way to do that, but it doesn’t seem like right now they’re open to that.”
Katie’s Allies
GettyAside from her ride-or-die husband, Matt Ginella, who told ET he views his support as, “loving on my wife and telling the truth,” her allies aren’t exactly plentiful. But you know what they say — it’s quality over quantity. And she certainly has some heavy-hitters on her team. One of them is magnet for controversy herself, Tamra Judge. Which makes sense as they were both accused of being a leak at different times in season 19, though Tamra was called out only after production had stopped.
Ginella also confided in ET that following her pause in filming, Judge was the only one who reached out to her — making their friendship is more genuine than strategic. She further elaborated that she also counts Vicki Gunvalson as one of her pals, which is great news for Ginella as Gunvalson will be back on our screens next season!
Katie’s Regrets
BravoReflecting on season 19, Katie told ET that she regrets apologizing so much and rolling over so easily when challenged by the other women. “I think I went into this hearing from different people that I needed to make amends, make amends, make amends. And so that was my focus. And so looking back, I wish I would have just not done that. I wish I would have just been who I was.”
In part 2 of the “RHOC” reunion, her husband remedied that when he joined the couch and came out swinging, ready to shut down the slings and arrows she’s endured all season around whether or not she divulged damaging information to journalist Kiki Monique.
As a follow up, however, she remarked that she is proud of her strong backbone during the reunion. And she even hinted that someone other than her has some apologizing on the horizon, but we’ll have to wait until part 3 to see who that is!
Part 3 of the “RHOC” reunion airs Thursday, November 20 at 8pm on Bravo and streams the next day on Peacock.
