‘Survivor 50’ Contestant Gets Overwhelming Support After Heartbreaking Loss

During her 39 days on “Survivor: David vs. Goliath,” Angelina Keeley went to great lengths to sway the other contestants to her side and come out ahead. Although she didn’t emerge as the winner, her perseverance ultimately paid off, and she made it to the Final 3.

Just weeks after filming “Survivor 50,” Keeley has bravely revealed the devastating personal tragedy she’s dealing with. Thankfully, her tight-knit “Survivor” family is showing that they can be relied on for support outside the wilderness.

‘Survivor’ Castmates Unite in Support of Keeley Following Pregnancy Loss

Keeley began her Instagram post with a trigger warning, alerting fans that her post dealt with pregnancy loss. She included photos of her ultrasound and pregnancy test results.

“We were on the brink of announcing the happiest newsโ€” our third baby,” she wrote. “We had heard their heartbeat and started to imagine our family with one more little love. But a few days ago, I went to the ER and after an ultrasound they confirmed I was having a miscarriage.”

“I want to share this because I know so many women who have walked this devastating path,” she continued. “And for me itโ€™s healing to share the joy (however brief) and grief.”

“I know I am not alone,” she added. “I know I will hold my perfect babe in Heaven one day. And I know I will carry them in my heart and cells forever.”

Keeley’s “Survivor” castmates immediately rallied around her.

“Ohhh honey I’m hugging you,” Parvati Shallow wrote. “Love you babe,” Keeley wrote back. “Watching Australia vs World to help pass the time.”

“Oh, Angelina and Austin, I am so very sorry,” Chrissy Hofbeck, a Season 35 alum and contestant on “Survivor 50” commented. “Your courage to share your grief and experience will be a hug to other parents who have or will go thru this too. Holding you in my heart.”

Kara Kay, who also appeared with Keeley in Season 2 of “The White Lotus,” wrote, “Sending you every ounce of love I have in my soul.”

Keeley Had a Heartwarming Reunion With Her Daughters After Filming ‘Survivor 50’

Two years after appearing on Season 37 of “Survivor,” Keeley welcomed her first child, Sophia, and a couple of years later, Gabriella. Keeley adores being a mom and even recently incorporated that love into a new business, JoyBabe Studio. Marketed as a place to empower mothers, it features a castle-themed play space for kids and classes for both mothers and expectant mothers.
