However, it’s easy to forget that one of the biggest stars in the world was once a kid with her own artists she worshipped. Taylor also had a list of musicians and singers who inspired her.
On October 3, Taylor Swift revealed that one of her childhood favorites was a Spice Girl. She got to meet Emma ‘Baby Spice’ Bunton for the first time when she appeared on the “Heart Breakfast” podcast. Watching her gush over her idol was truly adorable.
Emma Bunton Is Shocked As Taylor Swift Reveals Her Adoration
Taylor was on the podcast to talk about “The Life of a Showgirl.” However, the conversation quickly turned to her adoration of Baby Spice during her childhood.
“It’s so crazy to actually get to be in the same room with you. Because I was telling you I used to — I had your doll, the Baby Spice doll,” Taylor told Emma. “And it was my favorite one. And we would all fight over who got to be you. Like, amongst the girls that were blonde.”
“And honestly, you just mean the world to me, and it was like, absolutely, you were the first person I freaked out over,” she continued. “So, thanks for talking to me.”
Emma was speechless to hear that Taylor had been starstruck by her. “I don’t know how to take all this in,” she told her, blushing. “Obviously, we are huge fans of yours, my family, here. It’s just been incredible for you. I came to your tour twice.”
“Yeah, that blew me away, that absolutely blew me away,” Taylor told her. “They gave us a list of who’s going to be at the show, and I’ll just be looking over it backstage. I saw you on the list and I was like, ‘Oh my god, oh my god. And I could see you.”
Taylor Weighs In On Trying to Have a Bachelorette Party With ‘Busy’ Friends
Later in the conversation, the conversation turned to her fiancé, Travis Kelce. Taylor revealed her uncertainty as to whether she’d have a “hen do” or bachelorette party. “I haven’t even thought about that,” she admitted. “This is the first time I have thought about that.”
Emma mentioned that she’d met a few of Taylor’s friends, and that they were “great fun.”
“They’re so fun, but they’re so busy!” Taylor replied. “Do you know what I mean? They’re busy.”
Emma encouraged her to get a date pinned down. “Just even one night would be fun, wouldn’t it?” Emma asked her.
“It would be fun,” Taylor admitted.
