This marked a historic first for the beloved show, as the lead was not a returning contestant from a previous season. The new concept is now opening doors for other reality stars and social media influencers to potentially be cast and find love on the reality show.
Tayshia Adams, who appeared as “The Bachelorette” for season 16, recently shared her dream lead for a future season. Interestingly, she chose a famous face on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” who she says would be “iconic” for the role.

Adams, who now stars as a judge on the HGTV series “Bachelor Mansion Takeover,” recently told Betches, “I feel like there’s no limit now,” referring to the upcoming “Bachelorette” featuring Taylor Frankie Paul, who is not part of the franchise.
She then shared, “We can really just choose anybody. I mean, Dorit would be kind of iconic.”
“I just feel like she’s in her funky bad[expletive] era. Imagine her like smoking and being like, ‘This [expletive] guy doesn’t stand a chance. And then like, I don’t know. I could just see her being epic,” Adams detailed.
Many fans agreed with Adams in the comment section. In contrast, others had their own thoughts, including naming stars like Khloe Kardashian, “Summer House” star Ciara Miller, and “The Traitors” season 4 star Maura Higgins.
When Does the New Season of ‘The Bachelorette’ Air?
ABC“The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star Taylor Frankie Paul announced that she was season 22’s “The Bachelorette” while sitting down with Alex Cooper on “Call Her Daddy” on Sept. 10.
According to People, fans will see Paul handing out roses at her home base in Utah, where parts of the series were filmed to accommodate her life as a mother of three, two of whom have different fathers. Some of the season was also filmed in Colorado.
“I’m a co-parent. I have two baby daddies not one, so I’m dealing with two different people, my children, my home base is here. Can I travel that long? Can I be gone that long?” She questioned when speaking on Cooper’s podcast.
In February, just a month away from the premiere of her season, ABC released all the contestants who would be vying for her heart. Among them are three men who hail from Utah, and singer Lala del Rey’s former fiancé, Clayton Johnson.
Season 22 is scheduled to premiere on Sunday, March 22, on ABC. It will also be available to stream the next day on Hulu.
I would not watch if Dorit becomes the bachelorette. We had enough of her on her show.
