“90 Day Fiance” star Eric Rosenbrook is challenging the official findings surrounding his infant daughter’s passing.
In July 2025, Eric’s daughter with Leida Margaretha, Alisa Eleanor Rosenbrook, tragically passed away at just five weeks old. The Medical Examiner’s Office recently declared the baby’s death was “non-accidental,” per Starcasm.
However, Eric doesn’t agree with the ruling and told TMZ that he and Leida hired a private medical examiner to conduct another autopsy.
’90 Day Fiance’ Star Eric Rosenbrook Questions Daughter’s Autopsy
Eric added that their private medical examiner believes the original autopsy was “poorly performed.”
The “90 Day Fiance” alum said their independently hired expert found that certain steps were not completed and that the report failed to clearly state the age of a fracture referenced in the investigation, TMZ reported.
Eric also told the outlet that the private medical examiner believes one of baby Alisa’s injuries may have occurred during childbirth, while the rib fracture could have resulted from CPR efforts.
The outlet added that Eric and Leida went head-to-head with the Adams County Health and Human Services Department over its assessment.
On Monday, March 9, Starcasm reported that medical examiners “found a preponderance of the evidence to substantiate maltreatment of physical abuse to the infant by the mother.”
The outlet also noted that no criminal charges have been filed and the investigation remains open.
Eric and Leida’s daughter was found unresponsive on July 5, 2025, just hours after the couple had an altercation.
The infant was first taken to Gundersen Moundview Hospital and later transferred to UW Health American Family Children’s Hospital in Madison. She sadly passed away on July 9, 2025.
“It destroys me and shatters my world to announce that over the weekend, tragedy has struck,” Eric wrote on Facebook. “Yesterday at 12:53 PM, after 5 days on life support, my beloved daughter, little Alisa Eleanor Rosenbrook, slipped the surely bonds to join her grandfather Tom.”
A Look Back Into Leida & Eric’s Romance
Eric and Leida first appeared on “90 Day Fiance” Season 6 in 2018. The couple became quite controversial due to their fiery clashes and family drama.
Eric, who is a former U.S. Marine, met Indonesian wife, Leida, on an international dating site. Despite their 10-year age gap, the two had an instant connection, according to Us Weekly.
Leida and Eric called it quits in 2024, but TMZ confirmed that they are still married to this day.
In addition to baby Alisa, Leida also has a son, Alessandro, from a past relationship. Eric, meanwhile, has three daughters from a previous marriage.
