“90 Day Fiancé” star Leida Margaretha tragically lost her newborn daughter, Alisa, in July 2025. Now, new details emerge in the infant’s devastating passing.
Leida Margaretha’s Daughter’s Passing
Alisa Eleanor Rosenbrook, the daughter of Leida Margaretha and her husband, Eric Rosenbrook, tragically passed away at just five weeks old in July 2025. Now, the Medical Examiner’s Office revealed that Alisa’s passing was “non-accidental,” according to Starcasm.
The outlet reported on Monday, March 9, that the Adams County Health and Human Services Department “found a preponderance of the evidence to substantiate maltreatment of physical abuse to the infant by the mother.”
“No criminal charges have been filed in this case, and the investigation remains open,” the report continued.
Alisa was found unresponsive on July 5, 2025, hours after an altercation between Margaretha and Rosenbrook resulted in his arrest for domestic battery and domestic disorderly conduct.
The infant was transported Gunderson Moundview Hospital before being taken to UW Health American Family Children’s Hospital in Madison, the outlet revealed. She tragically passed away on July 9, 2025.
“The official cause and manner of death have not yet been finalized, pending a full autopsy report,” TMZ reported on Monday.

“It destroys me and shatters my world to announce that over the weekend, tragedy has struck,” Rosenbrook wrote via Facebook July 10. “Yesterday at 12:53 PM, after 5 days on life support, my beloved daughter, little Alisa Eleanor Rosenbrook, slipped the surely bonds to join her grandfather Tom.”
He added, “I do not want well wishes or questions. I will not anwer anything, read or reply. I ask just for prayers for her.”
For her part, Margaretha shared a heartfelt prayer before deleting her Instagram.
“Dear God… You can take away my life but do not take away my daughter’s life…” Us Weekly reported at the time. “She just born… And God… If this is going to be my lesson to appreciate life since I’ve been struggling with suicidal thoughts then take away my trauma… Help. Me. Find. Peace. Help. Me. Forgive.”
The couple first appeared on “90 Day Fiancé” season 6 in 2018 after meeting on an international dating site.
According to Us Weekly, the pair called it quits on their relationship sometime in 2024, with Rosenbrook confirming the news after his arrest.
In addition to Alisa, Margaretha is the mother of a son, Alessandro, from a previous relationship. Rosenbrook shares three daughters from a previous marriage.
