Will Leon Brown Ever Return to ‘Sister Wives?’ Mykelti Brown Hints at What Fans Could See in Season 21

TLC’s “Sister Wives” season 20 officially wrapped in January, with much of the season centered around Kody Brown reconnecting with his three former wives โ€” Christine Brown Woolley, Janelle Brown, and Meri Brown โ€” in their hometowns, offering apologies and seeking peace.

Since their splits, fans have seen fewer of Kody’s children on screen, aside from Robyn Brown’s kids and occasional appearances from Janelle’s daughter Madison Brown Brush and Christine’s daughter Mykelti Brown and son Paedon Brown, who sometimes share updates on their own lives and families.

One sibling who has largely remained absent from the show is Meri’s only child, Leon Brown, except for a brief appearance at her brother Garrison Brown’s funeral in season 19. Leon, who came out as transgender in 2022, has otherwise stayed out of the spotlight.

Mykelti Brown Shares Why Leon Brown Is Unlikely to Appear on ‘Sister Wives’ Ever Again

In a recent interview on “The Sarah Fraser Show,” Mykelti Brown shared insight into whether Leon might ever return to “Sister Wives,” hinting at what fans can expect moving forward. The last season heavily focused on Kody Brown offering apologies to his former wives, but with that said and done, could the new season focus on the Brown children?

Mykelti, who was joined by her husband, Tony Padron, shared that seeing Leon on season 21 is highly unlikely.

โ€œI donโ€™t think youโ€™ll see Leon do [โ€˜Sister Wivesโ€™],โ€ she shared.

โ€œI think that if Leon was going to [film] it would have to be a completely separate show. Thereโ€™s just so much, like, negative angst and hard crap around โ€˜Sister Wives.โ€™ But if there was, like, a spinoff version of it, like, โ€˜The Brown Kids,โ€™ hindsight or after the fact or whatever, for sure I think Leon would come back. But Leon wouldnโ€™t come back on โ€˜Sister Wives,'” she added.

The idea of a show focused solely on the children of the Brown family is definitely something fans would be excited to watch. However, Mykelti did share that if a new season of “Sister Wives” does get the green light, viewers will continue to see Janelle’s daughter, Madison, return, because she lives next door to her mom. She also added, “You might see me here and there. You might see Ysabel.”

In the comment section of their interview, fans liked the idea of a spinoff show focusing on the Brown children. “I vote spin off !” A comment read. “There should be a spin off like with 19 kids and counting,” another read.

The Brown Children Are All Grown up Now

Kody welcomed 18 children while married to his four wives. With Meri, they welcomed their only child, Leon, in 1995. Kody and his second wife, Janelle Brown, welcomed six children: Logan Brown, 32, Madison Brown Brush, 31, Hunter Brown, 29, Garrison Brown (died in 2024 at 25), Gabriel Brown, 25, and Savannah Brown, 22.

Kody also welcomed six children with third wife, Christine: Aspyn Brown, 31, Mykelti, 30, Paedon Brown, 28, Gwendlyn Brown, 25, Ysabel Brown, 23, and Truely Brown, 16.

When Robyn became the fourth and final wife, she met Kody having three children from her first marriage: Dayton Brown, 26, Aurora Brown, 24, and Breanna Brown, 21, all three of whom Kody adopted after legally marrying Robyn. The couple later welcomed son Solomon Brown, 15, and Ariella Brown, 10.

Though once close, several of the Brown children no longer speak with Robyn’s kids, as tensions arose after the family was fractured following the wives’ split from Kody, and what some perceived as favoritism towards Robyn’s children.

But imagine a series where the next generation of Browns could reconnect, find trust, and discover peace within themselves, something fans would undoubtedly watch.
