Movie and television actress Keri Russell turns 50 today. The star was born on March 23, 1976, in Fountain Valley, California.

Russell began performing in the early 1990s, with her first role coming on Disney Channel show “The All New Mickey Mouse Club” in 1991.

Her first acting credit came in the 1992 sci-fi comedy movie “Honey, I Blew Up the Kid.” However, she also landed a couple of roles on the small screen, in shows like “Boy Meets World” and “Daddy’s Girls.”

Her only television appearances in this period were the sitcoms “Running Wilde” and “Arrested Development,” and the period spy drama “The Americans.”

In the mid-late 2010s, Russell appeared in two movies. They were 2016’s historical war movie “Free State of Jones” and the epic 2019 space opera “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.” In the latter, she played the scoundrel Zorii Bliss.

Her television credits included narrating the documentary “Secret History of Comics” and appearing as herself on the survival reality show “Running Wild with Bear Grylls.”


The Early 2020s
