“Sabrina the Teenage Witch” cast members recently captured a sweet photo together, including a “Sabrina” alum rarely caught on camera.
Nate Richert looked almost unrecognizable as he posed for a photo with former co-stars Melissa Joan Hart and Beth Broderick.
Instagram Post Captures “Magic Fam”
Hart, famous for her role as Sabrina Spellman, posted the photo with the caption “When the magic fam comes together!”
The photo features Richert, who played Sabrina’s on-again, off again boyfriend Harvey Kinkle, alongside Hart and Broderick, who played Sabrina’s aunt Zelda Spellman.
Fans were thrilled to see the ’90s heartthrob in the post. One user posted “OMG this is ICONIC,” while another wrote, “Harvey, Sabrina and Aunt Zelda,” followed by heart emojis.
It’s not the first time the “Sabrina” cast have been spotted together, per PageSix.
Richert posted a photo of the cast at dinner together in 2024, after a cast appearance at ’90s Con. Richert, Hart and Broderick featured at the event, along with former cast members Jenna Leigh Green (Libby Chessler) and Alimi Ballard (the Quizmaster).
Hart also revealed to Distractify that the cast regularly keep in touch.
“We had a whole cast and crew reunion,” she recalled. “I threw a little party at a coffee shop that was closed down for the evening, and people flew in from Canada and Texas and New York just to get together for a few hours, just to get together for our glory days of ‘Sabrina’ – it was so much fun. It’s really fun to see those people.”
“Sabrina the Teenage Witch” aired from 1996 to 2003, running for seven seasons. While Hart and Richert had definite onscreen chemistry, the pair never dated in real life.
“I think I probably crushed on him a little bit, but he was dating a girl on a TV show across the way from us at Universal Studios our first season – he started dating her pretty early on – and I had a boyfriend when we first started,” Hart told Distractify.
Nate Richert Now Stays Out Of Spotlight
GettyRichert has kept a low profile since his starring role as Harvey Kinkle.
He revealed he had taken up a number of odd jobs to “pay the bills,” the Daily Mail reported. His last acting job was in 2006.
“I’m extremely lucky to have had any success at all, let alone solid work in film and TV for six years (20 years ago),” he tweeted. “I’m currently a maintenance man, a janitor, a carpenter and do whatever random jobs I can get to pay the bills.”
He now appears on his podcast “The Nate & Curtis Show,” alongside his former co-star Curtis Andersen, who played Gordie on the show. He also posts comedy sketches to his Instagram.
