Dad of Nickelodeon’s ‘All That’ Kianna Underwood Has Burning Question About Her Passing

Kianna Underwood’s dad, Anthony Underwood, wrote an emotional Facebook post following her tragic death on Jan. 16, when she was struck by a black Ford SUV at the intersection of Watkins Street and Pitkin Avenue in Brownsville, N.Y.

Anthony questioned if his daughter, who starred in Nickelodeon’s “All That” in 2005, was neglected and left for dead while people stood around and watched.

Anthony Underwood Speaks Out

“So this one time Tia Ynvme Taylor and I where in the Catskills and we saw this fox on the road,” he wrote on Saturday, Jan. 17. “I could tell it had been hit. It was a dangerous curved road and I contemplated moving our car into the middle of the road so it wouldn’t get hit again.”

“But before I could do anything someone came around the corner and didnt slow down when I started flashing my highbeams. So the driver ran over the fox, I remember the horror I felt when I saw that,” her dad added. “Another driver pulled over and picked the fox up who was still alive and put it on the side of the road.”

Anthony concluded, “All I can think about is did anyone show my baby that same compassion,  as someone ran her over like roadkill. Did anyone try to comfort my baby as she layed dying in the street alone, or did they just stand around with their phones.”

The New York Post shared an update the day after Kianna was struck in a hit-and-run in Brooklyn, saying that the 33-year-old was hit by not one but two vehicles.

A Call for Help for Kianna Underwood

In a resurfaced Instagram post from November 2023, Kianna’s former Nickelodeon colleague Angelique Bates pleaded with former co-stars of Kianna’s to help her, as she was believed to be homeless at the time.

Bates said she was “not aware” of Kianna’s struggles until moments before she shared her Instagram video asking the community to help her friend. The “All That” alum was shocked to hear that those who were on the show with them were not stepping up to find Kianna assistance, according to online videos seen by Bates.

Following her death, fans have poured in their heartfelt words and memories for the former child actor.

“This is too freaking much and the new year just started. Keeping the Underwood family in my thoughts and prayers. 🙏🙏,” one commented on an Instagram post from TMZ. “I knew her from doing the of voice of little bill’s cousin fuchsia may she rest in peace 😢🕊️💔🙏,” another shared.
