Amanda Bynes is Still Dating a 40-Year-Old Business Owner
According to sources that spoke to Daily Mail, Bynes has been dating 40-year-old Zachary Khan in recent months. However, they have largely kept their relationship out of the public eye and are managing to get to know each other more without massive amounts of public attention.
The same sources suggest that the relationship with Khan has helped Bynes find a sense of stability in her life as she continues to recover. Describing him as “level-headed,” the sources confirm that the pair have known each other for many years but only became romantically involved after Bynes split from former fiancé Paul Michael.
Khan has also helped Bynes in other ways, such as in her weight loss journey and mental health, although it doesn’t seem like they are looking to make it any more serious at this moment in time. “It’s still going,” one insider told the paper. “It’s not serious serious, like they’re not going to get married right away, but he’s really supportive of her, really good to her.”
It was first revealed that Bynes and Khan were dating back in September 2025, with the actor posting about her new boyfriend on social media. It came after Bynes ended her engagement from Michael in 2023 after roughly two years together.
The sources also confirmed that Khan owns and operates his own event and security business called In House Event Operations. This sense of normalcy has also been important for Bynes.
“She needs that. He’s very nine-to-five, very level-headed,” a source said. “He can talk her down when she gets upset, but also makes her laugh. Amanda used to say she wasn’t ever going to find another boyfriend, and then she and Zachary got closer. It was a deep friendship that turned to more.

“Her family and friends are so happy for her,” the second source revealed. “There was a time not so long ago where it was all doom and gloom and an uphill battle.”
Amanda Bynes is Recording New Music
Just a few days ago, Bynes revealed exciting news that she was stepping back into the studio to record new music.
Speaking from her car in a TikTok video, Bynes said, “What’s up everybody. I wanted to make a quick post>” She then confirmed that she was due to record the vocals for a new song called “Girlfriend.”
However, she was quick to point out that the track was still in the early stages of development and had no backing music yet.
But that didn’t stop Bynes from showing undeniable excitement at the opportunity to be creative again. “I’m so excited about it honestly,” she explained.
