The “Cowboys Cry Too” songstress has been making headlines after reportedly splitting from Chase Stokes a second time, but she’s clearly channeling her energy into her style and having the best time in the Big Apple.
Instead of letting the breakup overshadow the moment, Ballerini embraced the spotlight with stunning looks at some of the week’s most-talked-about shows, including Carolina Herrera and Michael Kors.
Kelsea Ballerini Takes on NYFW After Chase Stokes Split
Kelsea Ballerini brought undeniable star power, attending some of the most buzzed-about shows during New York Fashion Week. On Feb. 12, Ballerini stepped out for Carolina Herrera’s Fall 2026 fashion show and turned heads in a midnight-blue sequin maxi dress from the designer with matching blue heels. She opted for understated accessories and wore her hair down in effortless waves, allowing the glittery dress to take center stage.
Ballerini was in good company for the show, joining several of Hollywood’s biggest names, including Martha Stewart, Nina Dobrev, Lauryn Hill, and Rachel Zoe.
That same day, the “Mountain With a View” singer switched gears in an all-black ensemble while attending Michael Kors’ Spring/Summer 2026 showcase. According to The Haute Couture Corner’s Instagram post, Ballerini wore a look straight off the runway: a structured black blazer cinched in the waist with a black belt, paired with sheer black pants. She tied the look together by wearing her hair in a sleek ponytail and gold hoop earrings.
Ballerini also shared her latest looks on Instagram, including both her stunning outfits from both shows. She also shared behind-the-scenes snaps of the day, like a selfie she took sitting front row at Michael Kors with A-listers Mary J. Blige, Leslie Bibb, and Gabrielle Union-Wade.
Ballerini Seemingly Addresses Her Breakup With Stokes
GettyBallerini may have hinted at what went wrong in her relationship with Stokes, resulting in the couple splitting for a second time in February. According to E! News, Ballerini liked an Instagram post of singer Ashley Cooke singing her new song about what went wrong in a relationship.
“Whisky nights, wandering eyes make messes / Hiding phones, ‘I don’t knows’ make questions/Towns talk and the truth starts spreading / Don’t you know crossing lines makes Xs/Don’t deny I know you did it / It doesn’t matter how you spin it. Want me back after that? Forget it / Don’t you know crossing lines makes Xs,” Cooke sings.
In the comment section, Ballerini wrote, “mmmhhhmmm,” to which Cooke responded, “you get it.”
According to People, Ballerini and Stokes confirmed their second breakup in February, after publicly reconciling in December via separate Instagram posts. The pair were initially linked in 2023 and dated for three years before their first split in September 2025.
