The Season 4 finale also paid tribute to Tony Cooper, a longtime unit driver who supported both “Bridgerton” and “Queen Charlotte.”

This new season has come to an end, and its protagonists (Benedict and Sophie) defied all the conventions of society.

In a conversation with TVLine, Brownell said “It’s really a funny thing to be preparing for production before we’ve even finished airing Season 4, but it’s a testament to the fact that we’re trying to get our trains to run a little bit more quickly — or our carriages, I should say”.

Questions about the future of “Bridgerton” persist. Showrunner Jess Brownell has confirmed that season 5 will focus on one of the Bridgerton sisters, but she has not yet revealed whether Eloise or Francesca will be the lead.
