Lisa Rinna Gives Her Honest Opinion on Future ‘Real Housewives’ Documentary – ‘You Can’t Ever Get Away With Anything’

After the release of Netflix‘s explosive documentary, “Reality Check: Inside America’s Next Top Model,” there has been online chatter about what reality show could be next for an exposé. Former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Lisa Rinna certainly has an opinion.

During a March 2026 episode of Bustle’s podcast, “One Nightstand,” Rinna discussed the possibility of a future tell-all documentary for the “Real Housewives” franchise. But an even better question is, would Rinna be a part of it?

Lisa Rinna Thinks a ‘Real Housewives’ Documentary Is Possible

In her conversation with “One Nightstand,” Lisa Rinna revealed that she believes a future documentary for the “Real Housewives” franchise could very well happen.

“I think with Tyra [Banks] coming out with the ‘America’s Next Top Model’ documentary, I think in a certain amount of time, something like that will come out around the Housewives,” Rinna shared with Bustle.

While on the podcast, Rinna also alluded to the idea that there would be some interesting stories to share in a potential “Real Housewives” documentary. “My husband [Harry Hamlin] always says this, ‘The postman always rings twice,'” she stated. “You can’t ever get away with anything, in other words.”

Now, if Rinna would actually sit down for any tell-all about Bravo, that is another story. “The Traitors” star expressed in the same interview, “I don’t know about that. I don’t know if I would do that, but I think it’ll happen down the line. I think it’ll happen with everything, especially in reality television.”

Lisa Rinna Says Her ‘Real Housewives’ Exit Helped Her Family

Lisa Rinna may be unclear on whether she would participate in a future “Real Housewives” documentary. However, she is sure that her exit from “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” is one move that was a saving grace for her family, including daughters Amelia Gray Hamlin and Delilah Belle Hamlin.

“I think there was a bit of a black cloud over me for a while. And I think that can affect the entire family dynamic,” she told Page Six Radio. “Once I got myself out of that situation, the cloud lifted for all of us. I really believe that.”

After eight seasons on the show, Rinna announced her departure from “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” in 2023, according to The Wrap.

When asked by Page Six Radio if she would ever return to “Real Housewives,” Rinna firmly shook her head. “No. I’ve closed that chapter,” she said.

The franchise’s longtime executive producer, Andy Cohen, also revealed that Rinna is one former “RHOBH” star who would likely not return.

  1. Thank God we don’t have to see Lisa Renna again on the housewifes, or ever again on any TV shows. She’s a very mean hearted lady who caused many of the wife’s a lot of pain. We will not miss the really mean lady. So GOODBYE forever!!!!
