HGTV star Alison Victoria bravely opened up about her battles with anxiety as she juggles multiple projects at once.
The “Rock the Block” alum equated her organized chaos of “samples and post-it notes” to “that movie ‘A Beautiful Mind.’”
Alison Victoria Talks Anxiety
Victoria — who got her start on the renovation network more than a decade ago on “The Ultimate Crash” — has become a fan favorite for her iconic kitchen designs.
With shows like “Sin City Rehab,” “Windy City Rehab,” “Battle on the Beach,” and “The Kitchen Crashers,” under her belt, in addition to her personal projects and production company, Briefly Gorgeous Productions, Victoria has a lot on her plate.
“People need to understand that I’m stressed beyond belief. I am by no means put together,” she told Net Influencer in an interview published on Thursday, April 16. “I am a disaster.”
She added, “I am like a cell phone, and at the end of the day, I’m dead. My battery is completely dead, and I have to fully charge overnight so I can run at the capacity that I do.”
According to Victoria, she struggles with “anxiety and feeling stressed” every day.
“This is not for the weak. It is not for people who are just trying to make a quick buck. You have to have real passion, you have to have real grit,” she told the outlet. “The through line is my love for this. I would not do any of it if I didn’t have that passion and feel purpose with that passion. I want to make everything around me beautiful. That will be my life.”
The designer explained that listening to her gut is the only way to get through the daily stresses.
“That has been a huge thing for me as an entrepreneur, just believing in myself. And when people say no, you say, well, I’m going to figure out a different way to do it then.”
Alison Victoria Leans on Her Partner
Victoria has been in a relationship with filmmaker Brandt Andersen, and sent rumors flying after sharing a photo with what appeared to be an engagement ring earlier this month.
“Brandt is the love of my life. When I say partner — I’ve never used that word before in my life,” she gushed in the video shared in October 2025. “But, he’s truly my partner. We’ve been together almost three years. We actually met at a mental health retreat, and we became fast friends. I do believe that that is the foundation to a real long lasting partnership, is a friendship first, because that’s really where it grew from.”
