Luke Bryan Reveals Wild Fan Autograph Requests Ahead of New Album and Massive 2026 Tours

Luke Bryan is sharing some of the strangest autograph requests he has received from fans over the years — and the stories quickly took a surprising turn.

During a recent appearance on “Taste of Country Nights,” the country star and “American Idol” judge revealed the wildest items fans have asked him to sign during meet-and-greets.

When asked about the oddest autograph request he had ever received, Bryan immediately recalled an interaction that stood out.

“Had a girl want me to sign a catheter pump one time…. gross,” Bryan admitted during the interview.

Despite his initial reaction, Bryan confirmed that he ultimately signed the medical device for the fan.

That was not the only unusual encounter Bryan shared.

“He said he once ‘had a dude wanting me to sign his arm and he said he was having to get it cut off the next week, so…’”


Luke Bryan Announces New Album and 2026 Tour Dates

Bryan recently unveiled new dates for his annual “FARM TOUR,” which will visit Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Indiana this September.

The tour stops include Latrobe, Pennsylvania, on Sept. 17, Millersport, Ohio, on Sept. 18, and Brookston, Indiana, on Sept. 19.

Tickets for all three shows go on sale May 21 at 8 a.m. CT.

Since launching “FARM TOUR” in 2009, Bryan has helped raise funds for children from farming families through scholarship programs. According to tour organizers, the initiative has awarded 90 college scholarships while helping provide more than 10 million meals through Bayer’s “Take Care, Now” campaign and the #HerestotheFarmer initiative.

Bryan is also preparing to release his new album, “SIGNS,” on Sept. 18.

The singer will launch his “Word On The Street Tour” on May 29 with scheduled stops in Fort Worth, Albuquerque, Wichita, San Diego, Washington D.C., Las Vegas, and more.

Bryan will additionally join Jason Aldean for the “Double Down Tour” this summer while appearing at several major festivals, including CMA Fest, Carolina Country Music Fest, and Winstock Country Music Festival.


The ‘American Idol’ Judge Addresses Finale Mistake

Hours after the season 24 finale of “American Idol” aired on ABC, Bryan also addressed a small performance mistake he made during the live broadcast.

Bryan performed “A Thousand Miles from Nowhere” alongside contestant Julián Kalel during the finale and admitted afterward that he accidentally jumped ahead on a lyric.

“I sang with Julián and I had a little mistake,” Bryan told Gold Derby after the episode aired.

“That song is a classic, and we kind of did a little bit of a different change to it. But other than that, I had a great night getting to sing with everybody.”

Bryan also performed his new single, Fish Hunt Golf Drink, during the finale and joined fellow judges Lionel Richie and Carrie Underwood for a performance of Deep River Woman.

The country singer reflected positively on another season of “American Idol” and praised winner Hannah Harper along with the rest of the finalists.

“Very emotional for her,” Bryan said. “And it’s just been a great season of these contestants growing weekly. It was a really great Top 3, and a great season, and a great finale.”

Bryan also discussed the importance of the Grand Ole Opry for young country artists after several contestants received invitations to perform there.

“Performing at the Opry is the highlight of a young country singer’s career, and I’ll never forget it,” Bryan explained.

“The fact that they are able to go do that, it’s a moment they’ll never forget and it’s really special. It’s kind of the holy grail of being a country music singer and performer.”

“American Idol” season 24 is currently streaming on Hulu.
