Cody Calafiore Takes Over Jury Roundtable Hosting for ‘Big Brother’ Finale

Big Brother” fans are in for a shakeup this season as a familiar face steps into a new role. Season 22 champion Cody Calafiore will host the highly anticipated jury roundtable for “Big Brother” 27, taking over the duties once reserved for Dr. Will Kirby and, most recently, Taylor Hale.

The fan-favorite twist will debut during the “Big Brother” 2025 finale on Sunday, September 28, setting the stage for the finale showdown.

What Is the Jury Roundtable on ‘Big Brother’?

For those unfamiliar, the jury roundtable is where the evicted houseguests reunite to break down the finalists’ gameplay. They will debate on who truly deserves the win and who fell short.

This is a pre-taped segment that airs during the “Big Brother” 27 finale. CBS typically airs it right before the jurors cast their all-important votes to determine the winner of “Big Brother” season 27.

Cody Calafiore Takes Over

In last night’s episode, host Julie Chen announced that Cody Calafiore would be hosting the jury roundtable this season.

The New Jersey native is taking over for season 24 winner Taylor Hale, who hosted last summer. Hale took over for season 2 winner Dr. Will Kirby, who hosted the jury discussion for years.

According to Parade, the hosting role is now expected to rotate each year, bringing in familiar faces from past seasons.

Cody’s Time on ‘Big Brother’

Cody first appeared on “Big Brother” 16. During his run that season, he made it to the finale and chose to take his number one ally, Derrick Levasseur, to the end with him. That decision didn’t work out for Cody, as he lost in a 7-2 vote.

Calafiore then returned to the show a few years later, taking part in an all-star version of the show for season 22. He changed up his endgame strategy this time around to avoid the same fate, and it paid off, as he won “Big Brother” 22.

Cody appeared on “The Exclusive” podcast in 2023, where he talked about managing a jury: “The more I think about the psychology of this game, which fascinates me, is why are jurors bitter? Most of the time, they’re bitter because of how you made them feel…maybe you made them feel stupid, even indirectly.”

He also looked back at winning the all-star season, adding, “I felt when I played the second time, I went more along the lines of, I’m just going to tell them and hope that they understand. This is what was happening, these are the people I was working with, and this is ultimately the decision that had to be done to further my game. And I’m sorry it was at your expense.”

The final two will battle it out this Sunday night, trying to convince the jury to vote for them to be the winner of “Big Brother” 2025. Will the jury be bitter?

Find out during the “Big Brother” finale, which airs on Sunday, September 28, at 8:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
