Austen Kroll Shares ‘Surprise’ Trop Hop Launch Just Before Season 11 Premiere

Austen Kroll is adding another bold business move to his growing empire. The “Southern Charm” star has officially announced the launch of his new non-alcoholic, THC-infused drink line under his Trop Hop brand — just in time for the premiere of season 11.

The Trop Hop Owner Launches New THC Drink Line

“Surprise!” Kroll captioned his October 22 Instagram post, unveiling four new Trop Hop cooler flavors alongside a carousel of brightly colored cans. He wrote that he was “very excited” to finally share the project with fans after teasing a “big announcement” earlier this month.

According to Trop Hop’s official website, the THC-infused coolers are available in four flavors — blueberry pomegranate, black cherry and Meyer lemon, blood orange, and passion fruit. Each drink contains either five or ten milligrams of THC, offering a range of options for customers looking to unwind without alcohol.

Kroll first teased the idea during DIRECTV’s “Plot Twist – Featuring Bravo” event in New York City on August 12. “I’ll just say it: I’m coming out with a THC seltzer. Very soon, in fact. I just inked that deal with a THC brand,” he told Bravo’s “The Daily Dish.”

He added, “Look, I know that there are other people, and everyone’s got all sorts of products — tequila brands and seltzers and spritzes and beers — [but] the space is wide enough for everyone. And I’m very excited.”

Longtime friend and “Southern Charm” co-star Shep Rose chimed in with a playful comment on Instagram, writing, “Guess I know what we’re doing tomorrow in ctl,” referring to Charlotte, where the brand is hosting tastings.

Austen Kroll and Craig Conover Keep Building in Charleston

Kroll isn’t the only “Southern Charm” star expanding his business footprint. At the same New York City event, he joined best friend and business partner Craig Conover to promote their new Charleston-based wedding venue, The Waverly.

“Our story’s just beginning,” Conover told Bravo. “Our fairy tale is the beginning of the movie. But we want to help people celebrate the middle chapter of their fairy tale, and it all coming together.”

Conover added that the venture builds on the success of their restaurant, By The Way, and their “Pillows and Beer” podcast. “Working with friends is interesting,” Craig said during an episode of “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.” “Work ethics are just different. I think Austen and I know we have something good.”

“Southern Charm” season 11 will premiere on Bravo on Wednesday, Nov. 19 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Episodes will stream the next day on Peacock.
