Christina Applegate Shows Love for Bravo & Andy Cohen
GettyApplegate was diagnosed with MS in 2021, and she has bravely spoken about her diagnosis in multiple interviews, raising awareness for multiple sclerosis and the impact it can have on someone’s life. The actress sat down with Roberts for an interview to promote her new memoir, “You With the Sad Eyes,” which is out now.
“On a scale from 1 to 10 with your pain, you’re constantly at an eight,” Roberts says. “Yeah,” Applegate responds. “But Bravo makes me at a one. Put on freaking Bravo and I’m like, ‘Thank you Andy Cohen, you have changed my life.”
In a video shared by Page Six on Instagram, fans have shown their support for Applegate and applauded her for not losing her humor or her spark, despite her ongoing health struggles. “This is so sweet,” the official Instagram account for the Bravo network reacted. Christina Applegate Raves About Bravo & Reality TV
Applegate is a huge fan of Bravo and has spoken about the network and some of its shows before, including revealing that she was asked to be part of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” In an episode of her “MeSsy” podcast, she said, “I was asked to be a Housewife for Beverly Hills. They asked me to be one 10 years ago, and what’s funny is I ended up becoming really good friends with the executive producer of it because our kids went to school together, and he’s like, ‘Oh yeah, we asked you,’” she said.
Applegate admits she probably would not have been a good fit for the show. “I wouldn’t have shown up to any dinners,” she said. “I would have been in my sweatpants and I’d be laying in bed. What fun is that? No. I would be the worst Housewife anyway.” However, she did admit to being a huge fan of reality TV. “In the two years that I have been watching from my bed, I have probably watched 300 hours of reality television,” she said.
Applegate is also a huge fan of “Below Deck” and has met some of its stars. “The stews and stuff like that. I have slipped into their DMs and become friends with, like, Captain Lee, he’s amazing, and Kate Chastain and Daisy [Kelliher],” she confessed. “I’m more of the Below Deck people because they are interesting.”
