Craig Conover Gets Real About Single Life 1 Year After Paige DeSorbo Split

Craig Conover gave an update on his unexpected single life one year after his split from Paige DeSorbo.

The “Southern Charm” appeared on “Watch What Happens Live” on Dec. 17 and said he’s learned a lot about himself following his breakup with the former “Summer House” star.

‘Life’s full of chapters and you can’t control it at all,” he said. “And you just have to stay open to rewiring your brain to new experiences. And I mean, I’ve never, for me, I took all positives out of it. It was a great three years and now I’m in like a really unexpected chapter of being this single 37-year-old business guy and just trying to not overthink it.”

Conover told host Andy Cohen he’s “getting used” to being single. “You know, I think I like dating because I like sharing my life with someone,” he added. “So like I’m traveling [to Switzerland] in January solo for the first time ever and I’m just trying to be more open to new experiences.”

Conover travels a lot to promote his businesses, such as his Sewing Down South line. He previously shared that he wants to find a woman who can be “spontaneous” when it comes to hitting the road with him.

Speaking with Access Hollywood’s “Housewives Nightcap” in early 2025, he noted, “I just want someone to travel with because I’m on the road so much now, and I’m fortunate that I can be very spontaneous with my time. And I think it would be fun to find someone share that life with again.”

In February, he told the “Tamron Hall Show” host Tamron Hall that he wants to “meet someone and travel the world.”

Craig Conover Says Austen Kroll is Happier Being Single

Conover isn’t the only “Southern Charm” star who’s now single. On WWHL, Conover addressed his co-star Austen Kroll’s split from his girlfriend of nearly two years, Audrey Pratt, revealing that his longtime pal feels “lighter” now that he’s out of the relationship.

“I mean, Audrey was a fantastic person, but he’s just lighter, and he gets to be himself again,” Conover explained. “So, I would just say lighter, sorry, not be himself. He’s living the life that he wants right now and he’s lighter. …He’s just, he’s I think he’s happier because he would like to be single, which is what I always thought.”

The Sewing Down South founder added that his relationship with Kroll improved once Pratt was out of the picture. “I knew as soon as they broke up that we would start getting along again,” Conover shared.

  1. Craig, take your time finding your real person. Yes it can be lonely, but it’s not good to be lonely in a relationship. Be patient. It happens when you least expect it. Have fun in the meantime. You’re a great guy when not drinking. Don’t go back.. go forward. More handsome now and more mature.
