Lala Kent Reveals Why She Was Hesitant to Join ‘The Valley’

BravoCon brought a ton of exciting news. One of the biggest stories is that “Vanderpump Rules” alums Lala Kent and Tom Schwartz are joining “The Valley” as full-time cast members. Now, Kent is opening up about why she was hesitant to join the show, which is heading into its third season.

She told US Weekly on November 15, “There was a lot of hesitation. I was extremely hesitant after coming off of season 11 [of Vanderpump Rules].” As fans will recall, season 11 marked Kent breaking the fourth wall and calling out Ariana Madix for not filming with Tom Sandoval.

Kent went on to discuss the hate she received from season 11 of “Vanderpump Rules.” She explained, “I don’t care about hate. But that was a different level, and it taught me a lot. So when the offer came to be, it was like, ‘I don’t know if I want to do this.’ But then at the end of the day, I love doing this. So it was kind of a no-brainer. Once I sunk into it, I had a blast.”

BravoCon 2025 Confirmed What Fans Assumed Already

According to Bravo, Kent and Schwartz announced during the “Peaks & The Valley” panel that they were joining the show as full-time cast members. The announcement came after much speculation. She stated that she had a “wonderful time” filming season three of the hit Bravo series.

The news that Kent and Schwartz have been cast for “The Valley” season three comes after both made limited appearances in season two of the show. Of course, as fans know, season three of “The Valley” will mark the first without Jax Taylor, who announced his exit during the summer of 2025.

The cast for season three of “The Valley” includes Brittany Cartwright, Kristen Doute, Luke Broderick, Janet Caperna, and Jason Caperna. Season one of the “Vanderpump Rules’ spin-off premiered in 2025.

When Does ‘The Valley’ Season Three Premiere?

According to Cosmopolitan, filming for the third season of “The Valley” began in September 2025. This was a bit later than when production began on the first two seasons. So, when will the show begin to air following the cast announcements for Kent and Schwartz?

The first season of “The Valley” premiered in March 2024. The second season began airing in April of the following year. Despite the short delay in filming, it’s reasonable to assume Bravo would premiere the show’s third season in the spring of 2026. Still, the release schedule is unclear for several of the network’s shows.
