Amanda Batula, Kyle Cooke & Lindsay Hubbard Tease How ‘In the City’ Has a Totally Different Vibe Than ‘Summer House’

In November 2025, Bravo announced that “Summer House” originals Lindsay Hubbard, Kyle Cooke, and Amanda Batula would star in a new spinoff series titled “In the City.” Speaking to The Daily Dish, Hubbard described the show as “a good traditional series,” giving fans a look at their favorite reality stars outside the Hamptons as they navigate parenthood, relationships, and friendships.

The cast recently teased what fans can expect, revealing that “In the City” will have a completely different vibe than “Summer House,” as viewers get a closer look at what life is really like in the Big Apple.

“Summer House” stars Amanda Batula, Kyle Cooke, and Lindsay Hubbard teased what fans can expect from their upcoming series “In the City.” In a cast interview with 92NY, Batula was the first to share how the new Bravo show will focus more deeply on their personal lives, which will be especially interesting to watch following Batula and Cooke’s recent announcement that they are separating after four years of marriage.

“‘In the City’ focuses more on relationships and that next chapter in life,” Batula began. “There’s a lot of couples that are engaged, or in serious relationships, married, with children, where you know, with ‘Summer House,’ obviously a lot more about singles and hookups and partying.”

Batula continued, “So, you are more so navigating that next chapter and that next phase in life. It’s a little bit more adult, but not too much.”

Hubbard, who was also present, then added, “It’s more our personal lives in the city, whereas ‘Summer House’ is more focused in the Hamptons, and you have a little bit of our city life. We’re like in it, our activities, our home life, our dating lives is back in the city.”

Cooke also shared that fans can expect to see his and Batula’s very close friends, even teasing that some of them may have even appeared on “Summer House.”

“It’s with friends that we’ve had for 10 plus years … what’s pretty unique about how “Summer House” started was all existing friends, same with “In the City,” he shared. Batula then joked, “Kyle knows a lot of friends that make great reality television.”

Before Cooke and Batula announced their separation in January, the former couple gave more insight into their new show.

Speaking on an episode of BravoCon Live with Andy Cohen in November 2025, Cooke shared, “It’s been a lot. It was a fun show because we’ve always wanted to show a little more of our life in the city. It’s the best city in the world.”

Batula then chimed in, saying, “I think it’s really about that next chapter in life and that next phase. It’s more about relationships, marriage, families, children, not so much single and partying in the Hamptons.”

But will the show highlight the former couple’s recent split? It very well could, especially if filming has already begun. Fans may see how Cooke and Batula lean on friends and family for support as they navigate this new chapter and transition into life apart, all while continuing to share the spotlight in a close-knit social circle.

Meanwhile, fans will also get a closer look at Hubbard’s life as a single mother to daughter Gemma, and possibly see her dipping her toe back into the dating scene.
