“Summer House” season 10 will introduce viewers to six new housemates ready to make their summer unforgettable. One of these newbies includes an Australian native, Ben Waddell, who has some reality TV experience, having been on “The Australian Bachelor,” but sadly, not finding much luck on the show.
In a preview for the new season, the housemates are introduced to Waddell, who appears as the final arrival at the Hamptons house. What they don’t expect, however, is that he already has a history with a few of his castmates, including Amanda Batula, who reveals the NSFW way the two first met.
How Ben Waddell Became Friends With the ‘Summer House’ Cast
BravoIn a sneak peek of the new season of “Summer House” season 10 (via The Daily Dish), the housemates appear all settled into their Hamptons home, with newcomer Ben Waddell the last one to arrive. As he walks through the door, West Wilson yells out, “He’s so handsome,” and begins to introduce himself to the rest of the people he’ll be sharing his summer with.
Waddell goes on to tell the group in the kitchen how he ended up in the Hamptons after meeting Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke at a wedding in Italy the year prior. Gesturing to Batula and laughing, as Cooke stands beside him, scratching his head, Waddell adds, “Then it was us two basically. Yeah, we stayed up. It was great. We had a good time.”
Batula agrees with a smile, replying, “Yeah, it was great.”
Wilson begins to question their time together, sharing, “Yeah, did you guys go to an orgy or something?” Batula shares the NSFW details about their encounter in a confessional, stating, “Ben and I met at my best friend’s wedding in Italy while we were skinny dipping.”
“Well, how do I explain this? We ended up me, the bride, and Ben skinny dipping in the pool while Kyle was blasting a speaker walking around the outside of the pool,” she shared, adding, “We really got to know each other at that point. Fully nude.”
Back in the kitchen, Jesse Solomon jokes, “You’ve seen Amanda’s boobs?”
Waddell Is Open to ‘Fun’ & ‘Flings’ on ‘Summer House’
BravoAccording to the “Summer House” season 10 trailer, Waddell is making quite an impression, winning over both the men and women with his looks, charm, and, of course, his Australian accent.
In fact, the clip suggests that Waddell and Batula may be crossing into uncomfortable territory. During a group dinner, Waddell gushes, “Amanda can walk into a room and brighten it up with her smile,” prompting newbie Bailey Taylor to stir the pot with, “Ben wants to definitely sleep with you.”
It remains unclear whether anything happens between Batula and Waddell, as Batula is navigating her own relationship issues with Cooke. The former couple announced their breakup in a joint Instagram post on Jan. 19.
According to Waddell’s official Bravo bio, “he’s open to fun, flings, and perhaps even a ‘special visitor,” as long as they’ve got confidence, spark, and a killer smile.” The identity of that “special visitor” remains a mystery, but with Lindsay Hubbard single this season, fans are already buzzing about the possibilites.
