Summer looks a little different for Ciara Miller and Amanda Batula, as they head into season 10 of “Summer House” without their longtime “bedbug” Paige DeSorbo by their sides. After seven seasons on the Bravo series, DeSorbo announced her decision to step away from the show.
But that doesn’t mean DeSorobo was left in the dark about everything that unfolded this season. In a recent interview, Miller shares just how her former castmate is still plugged into all of the “Summer House” drama.
Ciara Miller Shares How Paige DeSorbo Is Still Very Much Part of ‘Summer House’
Getty“Summer House” season 10 may look very different without Paige DeSorbo in the mix, but during a recent cast interview for SiriusXM Front Row Series on Radio Andy, Ciara Miller revealed that DeSorbo is still very much part of all the drama.
When asked by host Kiki Monique whether the cast, especially Miller and Amanda Batula, had called DeSorbo during the summer or “kept a boundary” after she no longer wanted to be part of the show, Miller said, “No, we’re literally updating her in live time.”
She continued, “If I have a crisis … I feel like between Amanda and Paige, Amanda’s devil’s advocate, which is so useful, love. But like, me and Paige are like a little bit more savage, and I’m like, okay, so what’s the most savage approach I could take?”
Batula added, “No, I have to talk them off a ledge constantly,” with Miller replying, “I’m like, okay, I need my little devil on the shoulder. What psychology can we play today?”
DeSorbo Explains Why She Took a Step Back From ‘Summer House’
GettyDeSorbo decided to leave “Summer House” after season 9 because she felt she couldn’t give the show (which focuses on partying, drinking, and tons of drama) what it needed.
During an interview with Byrdie in September 2025, she shared, “I just had this overwhelming sense that I couldn’t go back. I know I would’ve been doing a disservice to [the show]. They accept a certain level of showing up, and I couldn’t give them that.”
The Daphne founder also shared that it was her “Giggly Squad” podcast co-host, Hannah Berner, who helped her see her career could extend beyond Bravo.
“There’s an element of thinking you need that show and network, and Hannah was reminding me they’re not in charge of where you are in your career,” she shared. “I am assimilating back into society. I’m like, what do people do on a Saturday night in the summer?”
DeSorbo’s final season on the show followed her as she navigated her relationship and eventual breakup with “Southern Charm” star Craig Conover. The two split in November 2024 after three years of dating.
