“Heartbroken to hear about Hayden’s passing. The little time I got to spend with her, she was so sweet, so kind. I’ve always admired her work and the joy she brought people,” the 41-year-old shared on Instagram, attaching a screenshot from his guest appearance on “Nashville.”
“She was actually pregnant when we filmed together. Looking at this photo now, having recently become a father myself, breaks my heart,” Hough added.
Hayden Panettiere and her former partner, Wladimir Klitschko, welcomed their daughter, Kaya Evdokia Klitschko, on December 9, 2014. Kaya lives with her father in Europe. Authorities Investigate the Beloved Entertainer’s Tragic Passing
After news of Hayden Panettiere’s sudden passing broke, authorities opened an investigation. A 9-1-1 call revealed that first responders found a woman in cardiac arrest, later revealed to be the 36-year-old.
“An autopsy was completed today. At autopsy no signs of trauma were discovered that would have contributed to the death,” PEOPLE released the statement by coroner Mike Ellis. “The cause and manner of death remain pending further investigation and the completion of additional studies. This investigation remains active and ongoing. No further details are available for release at this time.”
