Just three months before her death, Panettiere appeared on Jay Shetty’s podcast On Purpose, with the two discussing a multitude of different topics. But one moment that truly stood out was when the actress said she had “a lot more life to live.”
Her interview came at the time of the release of her memoir, “This is Me: A Reckoning,” and she made this statement when talking about trying to come up with the title for the book.
“To come up with something good, I would have to see where … my life is going to go because I finally feel like I have shaken off all of this darkness and this negativity. And that means I’ve closed one door and another door is opened, and I can feel it opened and I can feel all the possibility … all the exciting possibilities. I feel like I have a lot more life to live,” she said, adding that she wanted to share her story as a message of hope.
“I want what I have gone through to be for a reason, to have happened for a reason,” she added. “And for that reason to be to help people go through whatever challenges they’re facing and to know that it’s possible. It can be done.”
