Awards season is doing what it does best; keeping us glued to our screens. And the SAG Awards have officially rebranded as the Actor Awards for 2026. Yep, you read that right: everything is getting a refresh this year. Plus the ceremony is happening live tonight on Netflix. And it seems like this event is shaping up to be one seriously star-studded affair.
But before the trophies are handed out, the red carpet has to happen. Let’s be real; this is where the big fashion moments (and viral interviews) go down. Here’s exactly where to watch and who you can expect to see.
GettyRed Carpet Coverage Starts Early
If you’re the type who wants every glam moment from the jump, E! has you covered.
“E! Live From the Red Carpet: Actor Awards 2026” kicks off at 6:00pm ET on E! Channel. The broadcast is hosted by Justin Sylvester, Keltie Knight, and Erin Lim Rhodes. And it will also be available to stream with a Peacock Premium Plus subscription.
Then Netflix takes the baton.
“The Actor’s Red Carpet: The 32nd Annual Actor Awards Official Pre-Show” begins at 7:00pm ET. It will be hosted by Paige DeSorbo and Scott Evans. According to Tudum, the special “will feature interviews with nominees and presenters, highlighting the evening’s standout fashion and offering viewers a front-row look at the red carpet on the biggest night for actors.”
In other words? Expect plenty of glam, quick chats, and maybe a few viral moments.
2026 Actor Awards: The Star Power is Very Real
According to the Actor Awards website, fans can expect to see everyone from Allison Janney, Jenna Ortega, Lisa Kudrow, and Jacob Elordi. To Gwyneth Paltrow, Christoph Waltz, Ellie Kemper, and Janelle James all dressed up in their finest. The presenter lineup also includes heavy hitters like Benicio del Toro, Claire Danes, Damian Lewis, Jessie Buckley, and Woody Harrelson.

And yep; it seems like the fashion stakes are even higher this year. Why? Because for the first time ever, SAG-AFTRA is requiring “an official red carpet dress code” with “the theme, ‘Reimagining Hollywood Glamour From the ’20s and ’30s’,” which “draws inspiration from an era defined by cinematic elegance and bold expressio,” per Elle. Translation: the looks are about to look.
Beyond the presenters, nominees and industry favorites are expected to flood the carpet, making this one of the busiest pre-shows of the season.
How to Watch the Main Ceremony
Once you’ve had your fill of red carpet glam, the main event is right around the corner. The 32nd Annual Actor Awards begin streaming live on Netflix at 8:00pm ET from the Shrine Auditorium in L.A.
Kristen Bell returns as host for the third time, guiding viewers through the night’s biggest acting honors. The ceremony (previously, the Screen Actors Guild Awards) continues to celebrate standout performances in film and television. As voted on by SAG-AFTRA members.
Awards night is officially locked and loaded. Between the new name, the stricter dress code, and a presenter list that reads like a who’s who of Hollywood. It seems like this year’s Actor Awards red carpet could deliver some seriously memorable moments.
