Marcia Ann Burrs, a television icon who graced the screens in dozens of classic hits, including “Will & Grace,” “Mad Men,” “Monk,” “That ‘70s Show” and many more, has sadly passed away at the age of 85.
The actress’ obituary stated that Burrs died on Sunday, March 22, in Hollywood. In her family’s statement for her eulogy, they celebrated her lighthearted humor that her loved ones adored.

“Though her birth date would technically make her 85, Marcia never acknowledged an age older than 39 — and certainly saw no reason to start now,” her obituary reads.
Family and friends plan to gather at the Salisbury National Cemetery in North Carolina at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 27, where the actress, whose career spanned across three decades, will be honored and celebrated for her life.
While Burrs’ television credits are rather impressive, she has also appeared in several movies. As a former Hallmark actress, Burrs starred as Mrs. Claus opposite Steve Guttenberg, Crystal Bernard and John Wheeler (as Santa) in the 2004 film “Single Santa Seeks Mrs. Claus” and its 2005 sequel, “Meet the Santas,” the Hollywood Reporter reported.
She also featured in “Rumor Has It” with Jennifer Aniston, directed by the late Rob Reiner. She also had roles in “The Bling Ring” in 2013, “Marriage of Lies” in 2016 and more notable films.
As for TV shows, Burrs featured in more than she didn’t! Her spreadsheet includes roles in “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” “Criminal Minds,” “How I Met Your Mother,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” Grace and Frankie,” “New Girl,” Bones,” “Gilmore Girls” and many more, according to her IMDb.

According to her obituary, Burrs’ family was very special to her. Her loved ones honored her by describing her as: “A much-loved wife, mother, grandmother, and lifelong performer, she lived with heart, humor, creativity, and an unapologetic toughness that brought authenticity to every role she played on screen and in life.”
”Though she loved performing her favorite role was Mom — the one she cherished most,” the obituary continues. “She taught her kids that life was limitless, rules were optional, and you could do anything. She lived it, she meant it, and she passed it on like a family superpower.”
Her obituary also states that after being born in Manila, Philippines, and moving to New York City, where she studied drama at The College of William & Mary, it was evident “from an early age” that she “gravitated toward the stage.”
