Hallmark fans have plenty to look forward to this February with the return of the network’s “Loveuary” event, featuring a selection of Valentine’s-themed romantic movie premieres every Saturday this month.

The lineup kicked off with the premiere of “The Way to You” on February 7, then “Because of Cupid” on Valentine’s Day, and continues with “The Stars Between Us.” The film follows Kim (Sarah Drew), who made a connection with a stranger, Malcolm (Matt Long), during an eclipse event seven years ago. Now a fledgling news reporter, Kim returns to Illinois for this year’s eclipse, unaware that their paths may cross again.

Meet the Cast: Sarah Drew as Kim

According to her Hallmark bio, “Drew is best known for playing Dr. April Kepner on nine seasons of the hit ABC series ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ and Hannah Rogers in Warner Bros’ ‘Everwood.’ Drew now stars in and executive produces the hit series ‘Mistletoe Murders,’ which just aired its second season on Hallmark Channel and Hallmark+. She reprises her role as Emily Lane in a series that blends the intrigue of a classic action mystery with Hallmark’s signature charm.”

Drew will soon portray Hedda Hopper in “Jimmy,” an upcoming biopic about the “It’s a Wonderful Life” legend, Jimmy Stewart, also starring Jason Alexander and KJ Apa.

According to his Hallmark bio, “Long is best known for his portrayal of Zeke Landon on Netflix’ smash hit, ‘Manifest.’ Long’s big break came with the starring role of Jack McCallister in the WB’s critically acclaimed series ‘Jack & Bobby’ with Christine Lahti. He subsequently portrayed the major recurring roles of Joey Baird on ‘Mad Men’ as well as Dr. James Peterson on ‘Private Practice.'”

Long has also had guest-starring roles on “Tracker,” “The Newsroom” and “Timeless.” His film credits include “Ghost Rider,” and “Sydney White.”
