Hallmark fans have plenty to look forward to this February with the return of the network’s “Loveuary” event, featuring a selection of Valentine’s-themed romantic movie premieres every Saturday this month.

The lineup kicks off with the premiere of “The Way to You.” The film follows New Yorkers Emma (Kim Matula) and Conrad (Aaron O’Connell), who agree to help each other find their missed connections after a subway blackout. Their search might lead to love, but not where either of them expects to find it.

Meet the Cast: Kim Matula as Emma

According to her Hallmark bio, “Matula booked her first acting role in the TV movie ‘Queen Sized’ in 2008. She was then quickly snatched up by soap-opera ‘The Bold and The Beautiful’ to play Hope Logan for over five years, earning her a Daytime Emmy Award nomination. Soon after making the difficult choice to leave the show in 2016, she booked a major role in the hit Lifetime drama series ‘UnREAL.’ Following that, Matula starred as the female lead role in the Fox comedy series ‘LA to Vegas.'”

Matula’s film credits include “Fighting with My Family” and her television credits include “The Sex Lives of College Girls,” “American Crime Story: Impeachment,” “9-1-1,” and “Ghosts of Christmas Always” for Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.

According to his Hallmark bio, “O’Connell caught the eye of writer, producer, and director Tyler Perry after booking a few successful national commercials, who cast him as Wyatt Cryer in ‘The Haves and The Have Nots,’ the first television drama he created. O’Connell co-starred in the show for four seasons. In 2014, he was offered his first supporting role in the film ‘Prince for Christmas’ alongside actress Viva Bianca, which led to the starring role in the Hallmark Channel original movie ’12 Gifts of Christmas.'”
