“Property Brothers” Drew and Jonathan Scott are staples of HGTV. With more than a dozen shows to their brand, fans of the twins are convinced they are quietly adding another series to their plate.
Why Fans Think Drew and Jonathan Scott Have Another New Show
One South Florida resident noticed that Drew and Jonathan Scott appear to be working on a handful of homes in their neighborhood. The viewer took to social media to ask other fans if they had any information.
“Do the property brothers have a new show? They’re working on two new build houses about 5 houses apart along my trail,” the HGTV fan shared via Reddit in January. “I even rode right past their catering truck today during their lunch lol. I’m trying to figure out which show of theirs would have two new build neighbors. I haven’t watched their show(s) in a long time.”
The comments were flooded with guesses, with some fans of the “Celebrity IOU” stars guessing it may be for a new season of “Brother Vs. Brother.”
“Brother vs. Brother” was the twins’ third series greenlit by HGTV. The premise of the show is simple: “Jonathan and Drew Scott compete to flip houses for the highest sale price,” according to HGTV’s description. The show debuted in 2013 and pitted two teams, led by each brother, against each other in a competition format. However, beginning with the third season, the teams were eliminated, and the competition was between Drew and Jonathan, with their brother J.D. as the judge.
The show ran for eight seasons, with its final episode airing in February 2023. As of February 2026, HGTV has not announced any further episodes.
“Isn’t that house flipping?” the original poster responded to fans guessing “Brother vs. Brother” season 9. “These are brand new builds that were only completed a couple months ago and there’s still construction in the neighborhood, which is only about 20 houses total lol”
While the social media user originally claimed that the show’s director only said they were filming “on of their shows,” she later added, “We were able to talk to some of the crew while riding and found out that it is in fact a new show focused on new home buyers.”
Property Brothers’ Latest Show Premiered in 2025
In addition to “Property Brothers,” “Brother vs. Brother” and “Celebrity IOU,” Drew and Jonathan Scott recently premiered their latest project, “Chasing the West.”
“Jonathan and Drew Scott grew up on a 160-acre ranch and, now they want to share their passion and real estate expertise with a growing movement of people yearning to escape city life,” the network explains.
Jonathan opened up to People about their new series, calling it “sort of bittersweet.”
“We could share what we loved about growing up on a ranch with all of these families,” he said in July 2025. “On the flip side, I miss it. It was so fun to be in the mountains.”
