Filming is underway for season two of HGTV’s hit show “The Flip Off,” starring Tarek and Heather Rae El Moussa and Tarek’s first wife, Christina Haack, in an intense house flipping competition. And according to Heather, Tarek is already in knots about finding the perfect fixer-upper to renovate.
On November 3, 2025, Heather told Us Weekly, “Poor T, yeah, he’s so stressed right now because Christina found a house, apparently. She says it has an ocean view. We don’t know if she’s telling the truth, but that’s the name of the game. It’s a competition.”

GettyThe first season of “The Flip Off,” which premiered in January 2025, was a huge hit for HGTV. The El Moussas squared off against Haack (her third husband, Josh Hall, only competed in the first episode before the two separated).
Both teams have to find and purchase a Southern California home they want to renovate, with specific room challenges judged by famous design experts each week. The team that delivers the biggest increase in market value for their home wins.
Haack and the El Moussas have a close bond in real life, but both sides are in it to win it. Heather admitted to Us Weekly that Haack’s strategy is working so far.
“She is in our heads,” Heather said. “Especially T. She knows how to, like, get under his skin. And he’s like … at our hotel room looking for a house for us to buy because we have to find a really good deal ‘cuz we don’t know — she might have an ocean view house!”
Heather El Moussa Says She’s Constantly Thinking About ‘The Flip Off’
Christina isn’t the only thing taking up lots of brain space for the El Moussas. Christina told Us Weekly that filming the show is “demanding” because it takes 1:58up a lot of space in your mind because you we’re flipping a house, we’re designing a house.”
“You’ve got to know the numbers, she explained. “You have to know the ins and outs of the flip. We’re in contact with the contractor. We’re in contact, you know, we have to know, like, what’s going on at all times.
“That’s the name of the game for flipping though,” Heather continued. “So it’s demanding in that sense that you always are, like, thinking of the competition.”

GettyThe new season of “The Flip Off” will air sometime in 2026, but a specific date hasn’t been announced. There have been rumors that Tarek’s first and second wives could team up against him on the show, which Heather said she’d be up for.
“I think it’d be fun,” she told Us Weekly. “I think that T thinks he’s unbeatable. And I think he’d be shocked if Christina and I teamed up together and went against him because her and I would bring it all.”
“We would have to beat him,” she grinned. “We would never (live it down), oh my god.”
