Finneas O’Connell has wed his longtime girlfriend Claudia Sulewski in Montecito, California. The music producer, and brother of Billie Eilish, proposed to Sulewski in September 2025 after seven years together.
The happy couple tied the knot on August 29 in California, with some of the first photos of the nuptials shared by TMZ.
Finneas is an Oscar and Grammy winning songwriter, who famously pens hits for his little sister. Claudia, is a lifestyle and fashion influencer with millions of followers on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram. She also recently founded a gender-inclusive body care line called Cyklar.
The Bride Wore Oscar De La Renta
According to Vogue the 30 year-old actress star wore four different looks designed by Oscar de la Renta.
Claudia showed off her many wedding looks to Vogue, which included a gorgeous satin statuesque white backless gown for the rehearsal dinner, a columnar white gown with feathered peplum for the reception, and then an after-party dress featuring a baby pink top with a structured grey bubble skirt and matching heels.
The bride wore different looks for the rehearsal dinner, the ceremony, the first dance and the after-party. Her rehearsal dress was a satin white backless gown while she wore a feathered peplum dress for the reception. At the afterparty sported a baby pink top with a structured grey bubble skirt with matching heels.
“We were putting it on, and I was saying, there’s something about this dress that just demands a moment of silence,” she told Vogue.
Claudia spent the longest time trying to formalize her reception dress, because it was the outfit she and her now-husband would have the first dance in it. “Finneas hasn’t seen any of these dresses, but since we’re doing our first dance in this dress, I’ve had to be very vague about certain limitations – the ways in which he can lift me, for example,” told Vogue.
She added: “We want to keep it intact, so I’ve just been like: there’s an obstacle,” referring to the feather peplum detailing.
Finneas’ sister, Billie, was photographed wearing a fitted off-the-shoulder olive green gown with a structured bodice paired with a skirt that pooled at the waist.
The guest list was star-studded with Billie’s boyfriend Nat Wolff, Justin and Hailey Bieber, Rachel Sennott, Emma Chamberlain, Jason Sudeikis, Nina Dobrev, Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard attending the ceremony.
Finneas Admitted His ‘Relief’ At Claudia Saying Yes

In October last year, Finneas spoke exclusively with People about it being a “real sigh of relief” that Sulewski said “yes” to his proposal. The couple got engaged on Sept. 22, 2025.
“I was nervous, and I was not. On the day it was going well and I felt really happy. But just leading up to it, there were so many elements I wanted to get right,” Finneas explained. “And so there were a couple months where I was just lying awake at night. So that was a real sigh of relief when that all worked out.”
Earlier this year, on an appearance with Today with Jenna & Sheinelle in June, he recalled how he used their seventh anniversary as a “trojan horse.”
He hoped that because they were already celebrating, Claudia wouldn’t suspect that he was actually using their romantic date as an opportunity to propose. “I think she thought we were going to go do a little staycation at a beach,” O’Connell explained.
“I was relying on her to be distracted by getting ready in the morning, and maybe sending a work email or something,” he added, explaining how he flew her and a private chef to a private campsite in the mountains.
He continued, “We were marooned on the mountainside, and then we just had this really beautiful day out in nature. And then, I did ask [her to marry me].”
The Couple Have Been Together Since 2018

Finneas and Claudia first started dating in 2018 when they met via a dating app.
Despite meeting in Raya, she had known of the singer for a few years beforehand. In fact, many of her friends suggested that the two would be great together, she revealed on “The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Podcast” in 2020.
She recalled that everything “just immediately clicked the second” she met Finneas. “Everything fell into place so perfectly and so quickly,” she continued, “because we already knew so many people in the same friend group.”
“I wrote the song ‘Claudia’ about Claudia the day that I met Claudia, and I sent it to her the night that I met Claudia,” he said in a July 2019 BuzzFeed Celeb video. “I sent her the first part, and she texted me back, ‘You’re trouble.’”
In January, Sulewski shared an update via People on the couple’s wedding planning. She told the outlet that they were still in the early stages of planning, but that the singer/songwriter was more involved that she suspected.
“Finneas has had more input than I think he thought he would have, which is exciting for me because I don’t want to feel like I’m planning all this by myself,” the presenter and influencer said in a YouTube video. “I’ve been really surprised by how many opinions my fiancé has had, and I love it because I want him to feel ownership of this special day for us.”
