Jessie J Reveals She Is Cancer Free

Jessie J is cancer free after sharing a new health update nearly one year after publicly revealing her breast cancer diagnosis.

The “Price Tag” singer shared the news on Instagram on May 21 after getting her latest results, writing, “RESULTS ARE IN AND I AM CANCER FREE‼️”

The update comes nearly one year after Jessie J, 38, publicly shared her diagnosis. Last summer, she underwent surgery that was reported to have successfully removed the cancer. Her latest post appears to mark a follow-up confirmation after returning to the hospital for a scan.

Jessie J Gets Long-Awaited Cancer Free Results

Before the results came in, Jessie J was honest about her nerves, as seen in the video the English shared on social media.

“Not going to lie, I’m [expletive] myself,” she said.

The video apparently shows the moments before she went in for an MRI at her yearly check-up before she learned she was officially cancer free.

In the caption, she added, “I sobbed for hours and then exhaled for the first time in a year,” the “Domino” singer wrote on Instagram on Thursday afternoon.

Jessie J Shared Another Health Scare Earlier This Year

Jessie J’s latest hospital visit came after another health-related update earlier this year.

The singer was taken to the hospital for an MRI scan after hitting her head on the roof of a car while on the way to a performance.

The singer later told followers she could not move her head but planned to keep going.

“Yeah, I just can’t move my head. I’m alright. I’ll just have to take some painkillers and march right through it,” the “Bang Bang” singer said at the time.

She also said the injury affected her neck and back.

“I thought I’d broken my neck, but I haven’t. But I have really hurt my neck and my back,” she said.

The “Do It Like A Dude” singer cancer free update came after she had been careful with her wording in an earlier post-surgery update.

Jessie J shared a candid Instagram Story four days after her surgery in June 2025. At the time, she listed some of the “pros” and “cons” of recovery while keeping fans updated on how she was doing.

Under the “pros,” Jessie J wrote that the cancer had “all gone,” but she included a fingers-crossed emoji.

She later clarified that she was staying hopeful, not confirming final results.

“I’m getting alot of messages,” Jessie J wrote at the time. “Saying so happy all the cancer has gone. To be clear I added the [fingers crossed] emoji as it’s a hope not a fact.”

The singer explained at the time that she was still waiting for official results after surgery.

The “Masterpiece” singer first publicly shared her breast cancer diagnosis in June 2025.

In her original Instagram video, the singer said she had been diagnosed with early breast cancer. She also made it clear that the word “early” was the one she was holding onto.

“I’m highlighting the word, early,” Jessie J said at the time. “Cancer sucks in any form, but I’m holding on to the word early.”

Jessie J later underwent surgery. The Sun reported that the surgery was successful, with the cancer removed and no spread to other areas.

Through the process, Jessie J kept sharing pieces of the experience with fans, including the harder moments after surgery.

“This post is some of the honest lows and highs of the last 48 hours,” she wrote in one update. “I will always show the good and hard bits of any journey I go through.”

She also opened up about how recovery affected her day-to-day life as a mom to her son, Sky.

“Not being able to be the Mum I’m used to being and not picking sky up,” Jessie J wrote in her list of recovery “cons.”

Sky is 2 years old. Jessie J shares him with her partner, Chanan Safir Colman.
