Singer Jessie J is speaking candidly after a frightening health scare that happened just moments before she was due to take the stage.
The 37-year-old singer, who has always been candid about her health, took to Instagram and revealed she was taken to the hospital for an MRI scan after hitting her head on the roof of a car while on her way to a performance.

She later shared the experience with fans on Instagram, giving a real-time glimpse into what unfolded.
In the clip, Jessie initially brushed off the cramped ride, saying she “didn’t mind squashing in the back.”
Shortly after, she posted footage from the hospital as she underwent further checks following the impact.
After the incident, Jessie gave fans an update while preparing backstage, admitting the pain had left her shaken.
“Yeah, I just can’t move my head. I’m alright. I’ll just have to take some painkillers and march right through it.”
She went on to explain the severity of the moment.

Despite the injury, she continued with her performance, showing the resilience she has often spoken about in recent years.
Health Challenges Continue After Cancer Surgeries
The incident comes at a time when Jessie has already been navigating significant health challenges.
The singer, whose full name is Jessica Ellen Cornish, underwent surgery last year after being diagnosed with early breast cancer. She later required a second procedure, which led to postponed tour dates as she focused on recovery.
This year has changed my whole world. My perspective, what battles I’m going to pick, when death comes knocking at your door, and you kind of have to answer and [expetive] kick it away, it just changes everything,” she said, reflecting on how the diagnosis changed her perspective, as reported by The Daily Mail.
Her latest hospital visit adds to what has been an intense period, both physically and emotionally.
Away from the spotlight, Jessie has also embraced a new chapter in her personal life.
She welcomed her son, Sky Safir Cornish Colman, in May 2023 with partner Chanan Safir Colman. After previously experiencing a miscarriage, she has often spoken about the joy and meaning motherhood has brought into her life.
Looking ahead, she has shared plans to explore new creative paths, including comedy and acting, while continuing to work on music and return to touring.
Despite recent setbacks, Jessie’s update reflects a steady determination to move forward, balancing her health, career, and life as a mother.
