Jimmy McMahan’s Son Pays Tribute

McMahan Jr. has shared his thoughts after his father’s death, remembering who he was as a parent and a human. “Today we remember a father who filled every room with laughter and love, my dad Jimmy McMahan,” he said in a statement to People, published on January 22.

McMahan Jr. continued, “He was the kind of man who spoke his mind without hesitation, yet always led with a caring and kind heart. His jokes, quick comebacks, and playful spirit had a way of lifting people’s moods, even on the hardest days. Making others laugh wasn’t just something he did — it was who he was. A man whose presence could never go unnoticed. He always wanted to be seen, heard, and felt.”

McMahan Jr. described his father as someone with a “kind heart and a caring soul,” who was always there for those he loved, ensuring they felt supported and loved. He ended his message with a heartfelt statement about how they would never forget McMahan. “His voice, his laughter, and his love are forever etched into our hearts,” the influencer’s son shared. “Though he may be gone from our sight, his legacy lives on through his children, the memories he created, and the countless smiles he left.”

This is not the only tribute to McMahan, and his social media has been filled with messages from those who knew him. His sister-in-law, Tonya McMahan, also shared a tribute on Facebook on January 20. “To know my brother in law was an honor! Never a dull moment, my stomach and ribs would hurt for days after spending a day with him!,” she wrote.
