Hip-Hop Icon Honors Late Rapper With Futuristic Tribute: ‘Gone Too Soon’

Following news of Young Bleed’s passing due to a brain aneurysm, hip-hop icon Master P paid tribute to his former collaborator.

In an Instagram post, the No Limit Records boss honored Young Bleed with a futuristic sendoff, highlighting their classic material.

Master P shared an AI-generated image of Young Bleed’s “My Balls & My Word” album cover, which he released in 1998.

In the original cover, Young Bleed is heading up golden stairs to a mansion in the sky. Meanwhile, in Master P’s AI-generated tribute, the late rapper is heading into the clouds for good.

“We lost another Soldier Gone too Soon @therealyoungbleed Rest in Paradise. Our Prayers go out to his Family,” he captioned the tribute.

Young Bleed took the stage on October 25 at this year’s ComplexCon, performing his hit “How Ya Do There” as part of the No Limit vs. Cash Money celebration.

Hip-Hop Enthusiasts Mourn With Master P

Many took to the comments and showed appreciation for Master P’s touching tribute. Young Bleed’s son, Ty’Gee Ramon, wrote, “Thank u. I appreciate u doin’ this for my dad.”

Some express their sadness over the rapper’s passing, noting his last memories with Master P.

One fan commented, “Damn man. I was hoping he’d pull through. So glad he shared one of his last memories with us.”

Another wrote, “R.I.P Bleed and it’s good you got that chance to get int that stage one more time with the Soldiers.”

Someone chimed in, “If that’s how you go out…I’m happy that’s how he went out! He got his flowers. RIP to a legend.”

Young Bleed’s Son Clears ‘False Narratives’

Young Bleed’s eldest son, Ty’Gee, announced the rapper’s passing on Instagram on Monday, November 3. In his emotional post, he confirmed that his father “gained his angel wings” on Saturday, November 1, following complications from a brain aneurysm.

Ty’Gee also took the time to clarify some things, including his father’s health condition prior to his passing.

“My dad, like most as you get [up] in age, had high blood pressure. He’d take his medicines and do what he do as a celebrity so not much,” Ty’Gee said in the video. “After his huge celebration at the Verzuz, he went to an afterparty and that’s where everything kind of spiked. I did want to clear [things] up and let people know ’cause people was thinking it was deeper than that, but nah, it was more of a natural thing that caused this to happen to him. Once he collapsed, he did pass from the aneurysm, the bleed to the brain.”
