Anna Kournikova & Enrique Iglesias Expecting Fourth Baby

Anna Kournikova and Enrique Iglesias are expanding their family once again.

The former tennis star is pregnant with the couple’s fourth child, PEOPLE confirmed on Thursday, August 28.

The Spanish outlet Hola was the first to break the news. At 44, Kournikova is reportedly more than halfway through her pregnancy and in good health as she and Iglesias prepare to welcome another baby into their Miami household.

“Anna and Enrique are very happy to become parents again,” the source told PEOPLE. “They have proven to be great parents to their three children, and both of them love the process. They enjoy the activities and all that goes along with raising children.”

The pair are already parents to 7-year-old twins Lucy and Nicholas, as well as 5-year-old daughter Mary. Known for guarding their family life carefully, they’ve surprised fans before by keeping pregnancies and births under wraps until the timing felt right.

Kournikova & Iglesias Relationship Timeline

Kournikova and Iglesias first crossed paths in 2001 when she starred in his “Escape” music video.

Their chemistry quickly sparked dating rumors, and the two soon became one of entertainment’s most talked-about couples.

In October 2023, Iglesias spoke with PEOPLE and recalled meeting her on set. “[The video changed my life] in ways that I didn’t even think about,” he gushed.

“When we met — although she came from the sports world — in a way, we kind of got each other. She knew what my world was like. I kind of knew what her world was like. So that understanding helped a lot,” he continued.

The 50-year-old added their relationship just got stronger and stronger as time went.

Privacy Is Key for The Couple

Throughout the years, the couple has remained incredibly private, with fans speculating if the two tied the knot at one point.

Iglesias told E! News back in March 2014 how much privacy means to him.

“For me, my personal life, I do try to keep it as private as possible because I need that balance,” he said at the time. “When I go home, back home, I want to make sure that whatever goes on in my house, it’s just for me and my loved ones with me that are right there and I need that.”

The source told PEOPLE, the couple is happiest when they are surrounded by their family and at home.

Iglesias reportedly cut back on his touring schedule to spend more time at home with his family, per the insider.

“He loves his fans and loves to tour, but as he has gotten older and become a parent, it has been harder for him to leave,” the source added. “He will never forsake his fans, but being a dad is very important to him.”
