It’s Gaga time on Good Morning America! Fans lined up all night to hear their idol perform her single “Applause.” The dates leading up to the performance, Gaga has tweeted photos and comments that have hinted at a Wizard of Oz theme to her performance. First Lady Gaga begins her performance with “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” as she holds a live dog in a basket.
Gaga starts to sing “Applause” as the tin man along with Gaga’s other Oz characters follow Gaga down the yellow-brick road.
In true Gaga fashion, there are several wardrobe changes from Dorothy to Glenda the Good Witch, ending with Dorothy again.

After her performance, Gaga gives an interview as she talks about how she’s gone from a bad place to a happy place, noting that she was going through a rough time when she wrote “Born This Way.” She ends her chat, turning to everyone to say, “Thank you for letting me be myself.”
