Lady Gaga is currently on the second North American leg of her highly successful “Mayhem Ball Tour.” Sadly, the 16-time Grammy-winning singer has been forced to cancel one of her concerts just hours before it was set to begin. She announced the sad news with an emotional social media post.
Gaga announced the cancellation of her Montreal tour stop via Instagram Stories on April 6. She said, “Hi everyone. I’m so sorry to share that I’m unable to perform tonight and have to cancel the show.”
The “Abracadabra” singer went on to say that she has been diagnosed with a respiratory infection and that she’s been dealing with it “for the past few days.” Gaga said in the post that “it’s only gotten worse despite her best efforts and that her doctor advised against performing.

GettyGaga also used social media to apologize to the fans who planned to attend the Montreal stop of her tour. She stated, “I know how deeply disappointing this is, and I truly could not feel worse about letting you down.
I’m so sorry to everyone who made plans to be there and support me. Being in Montreal and performing for you on Thursday and Friday was magical and deeply meaningful. To everyone who was coming tonight. I’m absolutely heartbroken and so sorry.”
The ‘Mayhem Ball Tour’ Is Nearing Its End
Gaga officially kicked off the “Mayhem Ball Tour” in July 2025 with a sold-out show in Las Vegas. Since then, she extended the tour multiple times, including stops in Asia, Oceania, Europe, and North America. Now, the final date of the tour is scheduled for April 13 at Madison Square Garden.
Following the cancellation of her April 6 tour stop, the singer has a break until April 9, when she’s set to hit the stage in Saint Paul, MN. She will then perform a second show in Saint Paul the following day.
In additon to the tour, Gaga is set to appear in “The Devil Wears Prada 2,” which will arrive in movie theaters in May 1, 2026. Additionally, according to Variety, she and rapper Doechii collaborated on a new song, “Runway,” for the film, which is featured in the newly released trailer.
It’s unclear how prominently Gaga will be featured, but she’s rumored to be playing herself. It has also been reported that she filmed a major music performance for the movie.
