What Demi Lovato Said About Hospital Trip

The “Sonny With a Chance” star shared a snap to since-deleted Instagram Story (a temporary post that can be viewed by clicking a user’s profile picture) showing an IV in her arm. A hospital band was around her wrist. The 34-year-old wrote, “sooooo i’m either allergic to passionfruit or sushi now!”

The outlet adds they were told by “sources with direct knowledge” that Demi didn’t need to stay overnight, and was released “shortly” after her symptoms improved.

They also pointed out that she wrote on another deleted Story, “i’m fine!!” In her updates, she followed the growing trend of writing in all lowercase on social media and other online content.

It’s unclear why she deleted the posts before their 24-hour expiration.

Demi Lovato Posed in a Skimpy Leotard for Recent Lyric Video

Back in April, Demi released the deluxe version of her album “It’s Not That Deep,” which featured several new songs including “Pretty Catatonic” and “Nothing on But the Lights.” In several lyric videos for the songs, Demi struck various poses in a sultry black leotard with cutouts on the sides that gave glimpses of her tattoos.

She sexed up the look even more with sheer black stockings and a shiny pair of spike heels.

The “Princess Protection Program” star told Billboard about the project in an April 25 feature.

The original version of the electronic dance-pop album dropped in October 2025. Of the bonus tracks, the starlet said, “They are great additions to the body of work that was already created. I knew I wanted to get back into the studio after I released the album.”

She said “Pretty Catatonic” came to her first, and the rest just “unfolded.” Demi also talked about the excitement around “Camp Rock 3,” which hit Disney Channel on August 13 and Disney+ the next day. “I think the age that we’re at is really loving nostalgia right now,” she said, adding that she thinks fans close to her own age are craving a chance to “relive” the Disney glory days of seeing stars like Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, herself, and the Jonas Brothers on their screens.

Demi Lovato Suffered a Much Scarier Emergency Back in 2018

On July 24, 2018, Demi made national for nearly dying from a drug overdose at her Hollywood Hills home. She later said in her documentary “Demi Lovato: Dancing With the Devil” that her doctors told she’d been “five to ten minutes” from death before paramedics revived her with narcan.

She also revealed the overdose was caused by taking heroin laced with fentanyl.

“I’ve had a lot of lives, like a cat. I’m on my ninth life,” the singer acknowledged.
